i have to say i am a little disappointed as i expected this to be a nice bonus disc to god of war III (maybe a special edition with a small extra cost). at this rate i think i will skip it as i still have my ps2 copies of both games.

The more I think about this, I suspect this is part of the reason Sony pulled BC and refuses to put it back in. They're taking a cue from Nintendo with the New Play Control games. Instead they just upgrade the graphics, add some trophies, and then offer it as a lower priced game.
I'd actually support this in a heartbeat. I'd love it if they did this with Ico and Shadow of the Colossus before The Last Guardian comes out, and it'd be cool if Rockstar wanted to 'remaster' the PS2 GTA games. They'd sell like hotcakes.

Camera’s fact sheet leaks news about 3D Dot Game Heroes’ character edit mode where you can make a hero from scratch. Yes, whatever you want. Even that. I expect to see a flood of dot art Marios, Zeldas, and Haruhis when the game comes out on November 5.

I wish beyond wish that the European one had that. It wasn't even there at launch. Seriously if it had BC and had stuck to the boomerang controller I would have it instead of a 360 right now. It's too late now.
