But Nintendo didn't make an original 3-D mario did they? It's easier to make a side scroller so that's why I'm suprised that Okami DS seems to be a proper 3-D adventure game instead of the easier and probably better looking option of a side scroller. It would be easier to do accurate stylus gameplay too.

Congratulations to the fine folks at Epic and Chair for the sales on Shadow Complex, a truly awesome game.
I wish I had a Best Buy here were I live as I would love to take advantage of that buy one get one for half-price sale on 360 games.
You can do it online man! Get on it! I really wish you could grab unreleased games with it though. They seem to always come out with these great deals a week or two BEFORE a bunch of major releases hit.

But is it a new adventure or a scaled down DS version of the original?
Um...nevermind. It's a new adventure. And is that a little kid on top of the wolf holding a sword? I think that's a better way of having the main character rather than just the wolf holding the sword in his mouth.
I hope the game is lengthy. Probably not like the original (which was quite long), but hopefully it's at least longer than 15 hours and plays like the original. I hope it's not episodic that goes by a chapter by chapter breakdown or too linear. I don't want a Okami for kids!

Hmmm...wonder what exclusive DSi games they're talking about? Well, it's about time something comes up! Nintendo should've launched DSi specific games with the system in the first place!
Anyway, I expect downloadable content for one thing.
And I also heard on Gamespot's DS forums that Nintendo said the next wave of DSi-ware games will make fans happy. Wonder what they mean? Maybe more core games for it? A VC? One good sign is that new SHMUP from the guy that did Ketsui. Wonder if there will be more games like that!

As for Okamiden, I couldn't care less. Just one more platform to play a game that's about 20 hours too long for its own good. I suppose the brush controls will finally get nailed though, huh?

As for me, I want it to at least be long enough. Too short is bad. Too long can get tiresome.

Yeah Okami was awesome and this game should also be great. The stylus should work very well for it.

Yeah I know, it's pretty awesome. I'd definitely get those two myself at least.I'm also quite interested in the DSi news as well and thinking it's going be time to trade in my DS Lite towards getting a DSi.
I say wait and see first!
Also, I highly recommend you keep your Lite. I have both myself, and I see me playing the Lite more because of the GBA stuff. Plus, the Lite is sort of like my playing DS so I can preserve the DSi from usage.
But yeah, I hope it's good news. I hope it's not more casual garbage but good stuff!
