Anyone who hasn't voted in the sales thread list 2 or list 1 for that matter, do it by the end of today and I'll add it all up tomorrow.
GG, that Mario trailer has some pretty plain looking ground textures in it.
Was that mii bit possibly online play? The internet was mentioned. The characters had floating notations.
It's when not if for me. I'm still waiting on a Lego Batman 2 price drop. It's open world too and has some Justice League stuff. Great reviews too but people tell me City is better.
Yeah, not sure, ghosts have been confirmed as in you can download other players ghosts and race against them. It looked like online play was in there but who knows?
EDIT: Here's the trailer in English
Toad is a speed demon, he'll be for experts. Mario clones LOL. Oh shit, light box is like a torch to freeze ghosts. Yes the propreller boxes from 3DLand return. Fuuuuuuu you can ride inside of spinning koopa shells! You can disguise yourself as a Goomba and other Goombas stop attacking you. You can kick giant soccer balls into walls to destroy them. Ah it's Ghost Mii data so its like you are playing with other people but not realtime.

The Order:
I'll get Marvel Lego after I finish Lego City.
Are you going to 100% it?
Tip: Don't just play the missions one after the other, break it up with some open world then back to missions or it'll get repetitive. Also don't keep entering the police station unless you have built up some collectables you want to cash in, the load in and out is horrendous. To unlock characters and cars you collect tokens in the overworld then cash them in, in the police basement. Collecting red bricks unlocks red brick cheats which are useful, activate them in the police basement upper level (in the large central elevator)
Yeah I will if I enjoy it. I am far more excited about the exploring the world than doing missions. That is the way I play GTA, I hardly ever do missions back to back.
I'm curious to see if you like it because the game is largely devoid of challenge. Would have been cool if there were more elite racing missions. Some of the trickier ones are cool.
Only problem with Mario is that the music sucks. What happened to Galaxy levels of awesome music.
I am more worried about the controls. I do not like the 3D Land-like digital controls with a run button. You have an anolog stick, use it!
I never noticed any problem with 3D Lands controls. I hear this complaint a lot though.
At the risk of sounding like the old fart that I am ... pressing a button to run in a Mario game has been in my muscle memory for close to thirty years. I probably wouldn't mind if I kept doing that.

They were able to confirm the return of series composer Koji Kondo and recent-addition Mahito Yokota (Super Mario Galaxy) for the game's soundtrack. When asked about the possibility of live orchestral recordings (which were featured in Galaxy), we got some whispering, a wink, and a coy, "Wait for more information about that soon."
