Now that they've announced the e-shop it begs the question are there really that many GB and GBC games that people still want to play? Off the top of my head I can think of maybe half a dozen I'd still want to play, and most of those being 3rd party so there's no guarantee they'll show up.

I guess this is Nintendo's way of acknowledging that at the price point they're not going to be getting droves of younger kids convincing their parents to buy it for them.
Looking forward to the mobile tour to have a chance to check it out. Got to believe it's coming to Orlando.
the ds also has a lot of older player games but they gew hidden in the mass chaos that is kid games 3rd party dev make
PES: You're going to feel like you're really playing football on the football pitch. In case you're into that sort of thing. (Foolz)
Gamers can play the game passionately, like real football players.
i am still disappinted that they said gb and gbc only games i hope that changes and my guess is that in n/a on the wii the VC 3rd party old games do not sell as well as first party ones that may have scared away some dev from the e-shop for gb games

I guess that will make the price more elastic to market forces and will leave it open to a price rise if there is extremely high demand ... or constrained supply
