Gamesindustry: There's still merit in console secrecy

Personally I think the vive is going to fry the Oculus rift at those pricepoints. The Oculus rift for a lot of money, or the clearly superior in every way, full option experience the Vive offers for 'a lot of money' +$200 ? It's a no brainer. Oculus priced itself out of the mainstream market, anyone who is willing to pay that kind of money won't bat an eye about spending $200 more for something that can give you a much better experience.
Played Bravely Default exclusively. I was beginning to suspect that the main quest was only a ruse and the only way to advance the plot was to do a super hard sidequest. But then I looked up a walkthrough and it appears I was wrong and the game wasn't brave enough to go there. On one hand I want this game to be over with, as it's getting very repetitive at the moment (I'm sure anyone who played the game knows what I mean), on the other hand I want to do all the optional little bosses as they offer little cinematics that flesh out the plot.
Instead of playing anything I've been making improvised trifles, ersatz alcoholic hot chocolates (using only homegrown and produced fermented alcoholic fruit pickles and very young honey-wine) and avant-garde soups featuring salted caramel. And even eating and drinking them.

Life is too short to waste it not playing videogames.
Anyone looking forward to Bravely Second: End Layer for the 3DS? I recall a few people here enjoying the original. Personally I'll definitely play it at some point, but given how all of the locations are recycled I won't get it day one (which is this Friday here in Europe) as there might be some Bravely Fatigue™ kicking in, coming straight form Bravely Default.
Playing Xenoblade Chronicles X, lots and lots of it. Finished the story of it now doing many other of it's numerous tasks. Fantastic game.
Me too. Really love it, even more than XB Wii.
Have you guys tried listening to the Manon ship music when in there? It takes a long time for the musical change to happen but when it does it's ear sex.
Cardboard Manufacturer Makes Lamborghini Out of Cardboard
Hideki Konno, the CEO of Konno Konpou, has built a cardboard Gundam and dinosaur before, and prepared for the life-size Damborghini with models at ⅛ and ½ scale. The life-size Damborghini took half a year and six people to build. It weighs about 100 kg (or 220 lb) and can be carried easily with a team, as shown in the video below. Although it's for display only, the car includes LED lights and a cardboard V12 engine underneath the hood.

Disgusting.
As for my weekend... I will just read what my WiiU screen says every time I switch it on "I have been playing Netflix"
Wow: corprorate overlord strolls, grinning, past the plebs sucking at his teat which literally blinds them to his pressence. The plump dude in a blue shirt also looks very, very perturbed. Amazing photo.
P.S. Say what you want about his face, but he's got nipples like tiny, perfect diamonds.

Mark Zuckerberg has such a punchable face.

The plump gentleman with the downturned face should become a VR meme.
That thread on gaf is golden, the photoshops are amazing. It looks like human harvesting from the matrix.
Graphics overhaul for Killer Instinct? Sweet. I really enjoyed season's one and two so I'm definitely pumped for season three.
