What happened to all the great SCE studios Sony had making first party games for the PS2. Seriously?
Nothing really comes close to what Splatoon accomplished. Resounding success on a zombie system while being a completely new IP from a company that gets groin herpes from even thinking of new IPs and in a genre they seldom, if ever, touch.
I still won't play it but there are no two ways about this.
Yes, I would highly recommend you get Bayonetta 2 especially the physical version with the first game included. Also recommend that you get Xenoblade Chronicles X as well.

Naughty Dog is making Uncharted 4. Insomniac cheated on Sony with Microsoft a bit, but are now taking way too long to make a Ratchet & Clank "remake". The Ico guys are doing the same game they've been making since the end of the PS2 era. The God of War guys are doing.....what? And that's all I can think of. Most of Sony's so called first-party stuff was just from companies who aligned themselves with Sony back in the day because they were so dominant. I think many of them don't exist anymore or are probably doing mobile games.
Bloodborne is hardly a "new IP" to be fair. It's just Dark Souls reskinned with a different name.
