Played Runner 2 this weekend and I kept playing Runner 2 until I finished it in order to avoid doing work ... because I had so much work to do that I didn't know where to start and I couldn 't even bear to think about it.

Today I start Steamworld Dig ... or Teslagrad

I don't like the sound of that at all. While I was fighting the Durambos in MH3U (the monster that looks like a moss covered mountain with horns), that was a repeatedly an issue particularly when the fight got into closer spaces.

Then again, if I go back to playing a gunner, problem solved.

Not that it's going to help you much, but if you look back in the news section, months ago, I predicted the New 3DS would come to the US at the same time as MH4. That just makes sense; maybe it'll be a bit smoother and maybe there will be a few camera options when played on the newer hardware. The nub will help with camera controls in and of itself; I haven't heard any enhancements while playing on the New, but, then again, knowing how popular MH is in Japan, I would be surprised if they didn't take advantage of the faster processor to show of the new hardware somehow.

Watched Blue Exorcist, FMA B and Space Dandy amid Captain Toad sessions over the weekend.

Netflix Wii U rocks.

PS: I also somewhat mistakenly said Majora would be a flagship game exclusively for the New system too... I was half right on that one!

I've been playing Captain Kinopio!  Such a beautifull game, and also such a bore to play.  I'm halfway through book 3 and only now are the levels becoming somewhat interesting in terms of level design.  I fear it's too late for me to now start enjoying the game.  I acknowledge that these levels are better, but I just can't bring myself to care for them anymore.

The only way I'd be willing to move away from Windows 7 is if they make sure any future OS is fully compatible with older games. That's why I refuse to touch Win 8. What's the point if you're going to suddenly have issues playing stuff you've never had any problems with?

Then, despite managing to escape the Earth thanks to good fortune, the aggressor alien forces from Earth finally catch up with the ship.

In the desperate battle that follows, the action of one heroic solider successfully defeated the pursuing forces, but the White Whale sustained heavy damage to its engine.

No longer capable of flight, the ship is captured in a hitherto unknown planet's gravity, and breaks apart as it plummets towards the planet's surface.
