I've been playing (in the scarce amounts of time work allows):
Rocksmith 2014 (The Trooper and Knights of Cydonia are starting to shape up nicely)
Borderlands 2 (or...the return of the PIS OFF sign)
aaand Valiant Hearts - Memories of the Great War (which is equal parts fun puzzly game with lovable art style as well as a sobering, educational reminder of what war can truly become)
I used to have a major crush on Gillian Anderson. She is exactly my type of woman to a T.
X-files was also my favorite show of the 90's.
She still looks AMAZING!
Will THIS make up for the Vajankle post or is this worse?
P**sy E**en Onstage at Punk Concert
Goes without saying, also NSFW!!
I know there's more Metal fans here than Punk, but this might convince a few of us to expand our Musical horizons!
Pffffffft.....haf ma babiez
Excrement is meant to be eaten on stage at a punk concert. Soft.
Except the Retro games no one wants are well made.
Started this, but stopped after the first day...
Is that Citizens of Earth? I was looking forward to that. I was a part of the failed Kickstarter.
Yes.
Why is Tom Brady so perfect?! Why!!!!!!!!!
Your pic wasn't showing up, so I fixed it...
VADER?! I didn't know you felt this way!!
Are you at liberty to say if it's complete shit or worth playing yet?
I'm now a punk rocker.
SCULLY!!!
Apparently I can talk about anything pre-chapter 5 for previews. Good. In chapter 3 I had to walk through a swamp with enemies 10 seconds apart and generally unavoidable, to collect flotsam which may have spawned in random places (I picked up 2 from the exact same spot). After an hour of this, I had acrued 10 flotsam, returned to the Mario parody who wanted it, and completed the side quest which rewarded me with my controls no longer working so that I had to close the game and lose 30 minutes of this fun-filled activity because auto-save doesn't save when it says it's saving.
So jealous of the pats. Should be an amazing Super Bowl Edge.
Wasn't expecting that much of a blowout....holy fuck.
The Packers totally blew it in the early game.
Its been a strange year for the Patriots. Up & down. In a way that makes it more satisfying than past years.
Bradys not getting any younger. Would love to see him win it all one more time.
I'm not sure they could any more. Didn;t most of their staff from that era leave, some to 343?
dildo factory.
And, despite my anti-post-modernism bent, I canno help but think that would have been a better naem for the Game Under Podcast.
The lady doth protest too much.
In a futile attempt to get this site back on-topic, I'd like to share that I tried the MH4U demo yesterday and that I was impressed at just how well the experience translates to the handheld. The only issue I had, save for camera controls, was that due to the lower resolution, the camera sits much closer to your character, meaning that your view of your surroundings is limited. I took on a Great Jaggi, which isn't a very large beast, so this didn't prove much of a problem, but I can see it becoming a larger issue when fighting larger monsters.
Environments were rather basic with very simple textures, but it's not like this was ever the series' strongest point. In cutscenes there is depth of field applied and self-shadowing, which I found to be very impressive, given the platform.
The demo also asks you about your previous experiences with the series and offers a slew of aids for those not yet versed in the ways of the monster hunter. It doesn't make the actual gameplay any easier, but at least newcomers will have some general idea about what goes where.
