10 mintutes later, my city catches on fire after an earthquake, and the fire department does nothing but watch half my city burn to the ground.
Does anyone else ever do this? Every once in a while, I'll go back in the archives and see what we were discussing a few years ago.
For example: here's all of us talking about E3 2008... I especially like the part where I start to flesh out an idea I had in my head at the time and say something like: The industry is going to start releasing more casual games to fund one or two big-budget games per year. Rather than having dozens of titles to choose from each year, we'll have less and (hopefully) higher quality games, and we'll all just have to deal with it. Prophetic?

I have been playing Bioshock Infinite and Fable 3 this week.
Having fun with both...Bio is a lot of fun after the overly long intro. In Fable 3 I decided to play as a chick and I think I made the right choice. She's nice to look at and it gives the game a different feel.
Finished the Bravely Default demo and just barely started the actual game. Played some Peggle 2 which is fun and addictive. Played some Strider as well which is a great game and further makes me sad about Double Helix's sale to Amazon.

I thought it was meant to be so bad it's good? It's so good it makes other games look bad, so maybe that's what people mean?
1. I wasn't on the board yet in 2008. I must say I've made this place infinitely cooler.
2. If you nailed the advent of the indie game revolution I'd be demanding to see your time machine.
Then you'll probably be even sadder to know it's Amazon that's going to buy the Xbox brand from Microsoft...
