Bioshock Infinite: Wow, I had no idea you could Sky-line Strike enemies while they were riding on the Sky-line with you. I never did much Sky-line fighting on my first playthrough as it was too hard to aim.

BTW, you know that feeling you get in your balls when you ride a roller coaster? Yeah, I'm getting that when I ride the Sky-lines now. That did not happen at all on my old TV, but it is happening a lot with my new one. Pretty cool. Happy

Yup its awesome. All of the action in Infinite is awesome, I dont understand people. I swear everyone just walked around and used one or two powers and shot at everyone like a boring shooter.

Hate to say I hardly got to play any games this weekend.  Didn't have that much time as I went clubbing both Friday and Saturday (which left me in a vegitative state for much the rest of the time) but it's not just that.  I seem to be going through a bit of gaming funk at present.  It's kind of where I was before I decided to venture into Dark Souls again ... and sure enough it's where I was left after I decided to call time on that game.

I got a brand new vita and I barely touched it just to get it set-up and to instal Tearway and Little Big Planet (for which I had download codes in the box).  I played two minutes of each, if that.

Paper's Please is awesome!

That said if it were an NES game from the old days it would be viewed as a cool unique game and nothing more. Really cool game, I dont think its award winning level though.

I think I may release a text based adventure game next year and see if I get any GOTY nominations for it.

Text based adventure games get GOTY nominations? The world would be an infinitely better place if that were actually true.

I started Assassin's Creed IV on Christmas Day, even after swearing off this series for a while.  It's been a Christmas tradition to start a new Assassin's game, so I bought it for myself, not being able to resist temptation. So far, it's very good, visually and story-wise.  It's certainly the best looking AC game, very detailed.  I think the Carribean locales are just much more fun to travel through than bland Boston and New York.  They feel like the old world locales from the previous games.

Edward is as charismatic as Ezio.  I love how he kind of stumbled into the Assassin persona yet has embraced his new duties.  It's so much fun to be a pirate, boarding other ships and killing everyone inboard.

Crafting and fast travel seem to have been improved from ACIII.  To fast travel, you can choose to travel to any island you've discovered or any viewpoint that you've synchronized. So much easier than fast traveling to one, run a ways to fast travel to another area, only to have to run a ways to fast travel again to your desired location.

GG, the only thing that hasn't been improved is the controls.  It's easy to get stuck in the wrong tree or veer off in the wrong direction, especially when chasing someone.  Overall it's a much better experience than III and easily the best AC since ACII.

Nice impressions, I'll play this when I'm done with Lego Marvel. Seems the only way to somewhat enjoy this is to complete the annoying missions, unlock all the characters then go hunt for everything in the city.

The fast travel in ac3 was a joke.

To answer Vader's question earlier. Yeah I think Silva is done. He is pushing 39 right now and when he heals up, he will beround 40. Also he is a broken man. Now way in hell will he try to kick like that again. Chris broke him mentally, by KOing before and then again by blocking his kick causing the break. I don't think he will overcome this.

About him being the greatest ever. That is just UFC propaganda. Look he already lost a few times in Japan to fighters that would be considerd Tomato cans. Fighters in the same caliber as Glass Joe. He did not just lose, he was finished.

Second he was a big middleweight that fought smaller fighters. He could have easily made the light heavyweight. Silva is actually taller and has more reach than Fedor. Fedor fought people that outsized him considerably. Without his fat he would be a light heavy weight and he could probably make middleweight too. Furthermore Fedor beat fighters at their own game. He beat Crocop a K1 veteran, that knows how to do a lowkick without breacking his own leg, standing!! He dominated a decorated kickboxer with his standup skills. He beat Big Nog, who was known to be a well rounded fighter with a killer ground game, on the ground! Silva always played his own game, he tried striking and only went to the ground when people took them there. He did not dare to go to the ground against people that were good there, like Maia. Fedor went to the ground against Nog, Arona en even Werdum (not smart that).

So to me the greatest ever is Fedor. Jon Jones has a chance to surpass him, but he fights smaller fighters and when he meets someone his own size, Gustafson, he suddenly looked beatable.

Some Canadians, might argue that GSP is the best ever. But they are idiots, for GSP is not a fighter, but a blanket.

The minus button is competent in its job as GSP is in finishing! Dude could not even finish his sandwich!

Yup and that is the reason he retired. He finally figured out he could lay down on a bed instead in the center of the Octagon!
