I guess that needs no explanation! I was going to copy the e-mail then insert a little side-note expressing my relief to go along with it, but when I tried to edit the original post, the formatting got all wonky...

(1) NOW I can laugh at the fact that: Yes, Siliconera made a HUGE deal out of announcing a soon to be cancelled Square-Enix game. They got everyone's hopes up SKY-HIGH, then crashed them all back down to earth when they showed a decidely UGLY Cavia-made squad-based SHOOTER... because, you know, that genre is one Japanese developers do soooo well.
I still find it kind of creepy that I had a huge craving to play Nier, the last Cavia developed Square Enix game, the very same weekend Siliconera put out this teaser!
(2) Shit! I deleted everything blog-related and changed my avatar to a moody, socially disconnected Neku all for nothing!
Who needs TWEWY2, a new Chrono entry, Final Fantasy VI 3DS or Super Mario RPG-2 when you can have THIS:

Leo, really pleased no harm came of that in the end. People can be spiteful and jealous, and they can hurt you but I'm very happy the little cunt wasn't able to do so in this case.

Hmmm..this article from NWR is probably a good indication of why more games haven't been announced for the new Nintendo yet:
You'd think it would only be funny to developers if the game is actually coming to the system.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, just officially announced today after months of rumors, might have a good chance of coming to Wii U this year, according to a few interviews with Joe Neate, producer at developer Sumo Digital.
"I'm sure there are still discussions ongoing about that at the moment. I think the platforms announced today are the only confirmed ones, but yeah, keep your eyes peeled for potential other platforms I'd imagine," Neate said to CVG.
Then he had this back and forth with Metro's Game Central blog:
GC: In terms of the formats the game's on, has Nintendo told everyone not to announce Wii U games? Because it seems impossible to imagine this, and various other recently announced games, aren't going to be on it.
JN: I couldn't possibly tell you. [laughs]
GC: You couldn't tell me because you know or because you don't know?
JN: [laughs] I… couldn't possibly tell you. But I agree with you, wouldn't it be a great idea to get this onto a platform like the Wii U!
