I just read that Witcher 2 isnt some super giant fucking game that takes 1000 hours to finish. Oh thank god. I will play that then.
Its Zelda length.
Hmmm... Have you actually PLAYED it with the Classic Controller Pro...?
I got tired of having my Gold subscription renew automatically without ever getting anything from MS in return for my loyalty except a big, fat dick. I said no when asked to renew this time with my CC and went out to buy an actual 12 month card at my local BB, to take advantage of a 800 MS points free promotion.
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!
OKay so time for the "what are you playing?" game?
Romancing SaGa 3 - Dear lord this game is tough, but still a lot of fun.
de Blob 2 - Good game, but a bit of a let down, as most of the new features are kind of weak and the soundtrack isn't nearly as good as the original.
Street Fighter III - I went on a 3 hour bender of this last night and proceed to have my ass kicked in about 40 battles and by a fluke won 3.
Heh, I actually played a game this weekend!
Yakuza 3 still. Stranded in Ch. 4, I like the setting well enough, and even the story and characters, but everything is so fucking slow in this game.
No, but its the same as every game with two analog sticks I assume.
Combat in the Witcher is weird. I have been messing around in the arena getting my ass kicked.
It's not. Once you play with the Classic Controller, you are --NOT-- going to want to go back to Wii-Mote. Trying to control that camera with the d-pad KILLS my thumb! CC was made for this game.
Taking a little break from this...
...to give THIS another try!
**I usually trust Homer's taste and was disappointed I didn't see what he saw in this game. I'm giving it a second try!**
Hmm I've been looking for a cheap Nier copy. I've heard the music is outstanding, and that the game as a whole really deserved a better reception than what it got.
I think it is impossible to find an EXPENSIVE Nier copy now...!
I'll be damned I believe you're right.
How is it not, the R stick moves the camera like every game. The dpad is just fine, I dont mind using it at all. Again moving while choosing actions is way to big an advantage to give up.
Ok I am good at Witcher now. Seems more like an action game to me with loads of RPG elements.
I've been playing Saints Row The Third. I'm about 6.5 hours in, Ihave many thoughts about the game, not sure what I think about it yet.
"Player" my default character for all games returns:
