"Today is the exact date that Sonic the Hedgehog was released for the Sega Genesis 20 years ago. Sega's upcoming love letter, Sonic Generations, isn't the only way the company is celebrating the hedgehog's 20th anniversary. Only 100 of these very limited, very high quality statues are being sent across the world. Game Informer was lucky enough to be on the receiving list."
US gamers are dumb. That's why we get Wii Play Motion instead.
Yeah, I bought Wii Music. I knew it might be crap, but I was hopeful.
Not sure what is included in the demo. But if you dont have both colors you are not playing the game. This is a Metroid like game, not a platformer, except that it has far more platforming than all Metroid games put together. The game is at its best when you have to generate the colored platforms by switching to that color while avoiding beams of the opposite color, while enemies are attacking. Remember the levels where you control the blue and red in Mario Galaxy 2, the entire game is that.
Ouch!
Hey don't be hatin' on Wii Music. I kinda liked it.
God knows my son does. I looked at the hours played for each game the other day. Wii Music = 124 hrs.
Ouch!
Super Mario Land sucked. I watched the credits and no Miyamoto at all. Might have something to do with it.
Like most early Gameboy games it's not exactly something that was probably designed to hold up for 20 years. I still enjoy it though. The flying and the submarine levels were kind of fun, and the main song theme was really good. Still gets stuck in my head from time to time.
WTF?
Decent game too.
You could definitely tell it felt different than previous mario games (or even SML2 - which felt much more like the other Marios). It looked odd too, the moving and jumping felt strange, the fireballs were bouncing once then flying up. Despite everything, I really loved it back then and I finished it numerous times. I think it's a great game and it's one of the many reasons I have such fond memories of the original brick gameboy

^I loved it.
I just got an email from bioware saying they had to reset my password because hackers got into their neverwinter nights servers.
Hackers are starting to annoy me.
So it seems the Zelda scenario down here is very interesting. Look what happened when I waltzed into my local store:
JB Hifi? Yeah I saw that story that a lot of places are breaking street date in Australia.
I suppose it's okay to break the street date on a game from 1998.
Now my original XB is giving me the "disc read error" on a brand new game I opened last night.
I'm starting to see why people steal games. If the platform holders can't make reliable systems, why be a chump and keep buying these consoles that are essentially low-end PC's made with the cheapest parts?
Very valid question. Really beggars the question

Nice bump to the 3DS because of OoT. When the heavy hitters like Mario Kart appear, I exept to sales to go up even higher.
