I've been playing my ExciteBots this weekend (though I noticed ever since I announced I got it Leo has been hiding). Racing can get a little old though so I've also started playing My Life As A King again. Never quite got into it the first go around and quit in the third chapter, but this time I'm having a lot more fun with it.
OOoooooh there it is. You were still hiding I say!
I'll add it on later tonight. Let's set up a time to race sometime this week and I will show you how to lose with style... SO SAYS THE GOD OF TRENDY!!!
Started up Elder Scrolls IV. Much better paced than my brief stint with Morrowind, but it's losing steam fast given there seems no point in levelling up. Probably going to find a mod to fix that.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobile
My main course has been Fallout 3 every night with some Street Fighter IV on the side. But I just got Infinite Undiscovery from that Best Buy deal (lucky I grabbed a copy), and will check that out.
And Yodariquo, I've also been playing Oblivion. I'm lost. I'm addicted to Fallout 3 but I'm having a tough time getting into Oblivion. I just need to keep playing I guess and maybe look at a few guides. It's more overwhelming than Fallout 3 in terms of where to go next in the game.
I've got back into gaming a little bit this week, finally getting around to trying out Populous DS and Nanostray 2 (Also for the DS.)
Don't know what I can say about Populous really. You flatten the land so people can build houses, reduce the number of houses of your opponent. When you have finally built up enough energy, you unleash Armageddon. If you have more "psyche power" from your worshippers, then you win. Oh, and when you unleash Armageddon it starts randomly playing Ode to Joy and you are left completely powerless to do anything but watch for a good minute or so. About the best part of the game is the top-screen animations when you cast miracles.
Bioshock, so fantastic. I am now in this theater area with this madman that wants me to kill certain people.
That's my favorite part of the game. Couldn't you imagine a whole game like that where this maniac makes you kill all these dudes on his list? Sounds kinda like Running Man. On second thought, that may not be as cool..

I've never seen the SAW movies, but that sounds like it would be pretty similar. In fact that would be a good premise for a ga --- oh wait, it's already scheduled to come out October 2009.
I've been playing lots of Gears of War 2 and Street Fighter IV online. I'm still currently working my way through my second playthrough of Star Ocean: The Last Hope. I'm playing on Universe difficulty and trying to do all of the stuff I missed on my first playthrough.

Have you played Populous: the Beginning? Is it anything like that?
Beaver, we scoff at the games you like? You understand we are pissing about exaggerating and when we aren't it's not like we have to or are suppossed to agree on everything anyway. Variety, like thongs are the spice of life.
And you go to the ROF to find out about non-wii games when we post 100 stories a day about games for every platform regardless? I must have posted thousands upon thousands of non-nintendo updates in the news section, but that means nothing? Do you know how many consecutive days me and Iga have posted news updates for platforms we don't even own? All this work for nothing? Now you see why I can get annoyed by the chatter?
My RoF post was a bit exaggerated, due to how I was feeling at the time. I suppose it's more accurate to say that the vibe I get over here is heavily in favor of niche games, which I don't go for very often, and against typical games in the "I'm tired of that genre" kind of way.
The part about finding out about non-Wii games was poor wording on my part. "Discussing non-Wii games" is more like what I meant. I can find so much discussion and information about all kinds of games over at GS, but the bias in the discussions on this site doesn't usually appeal to me. I do, however, use this site for gaming news almost all the time. And the discussions about the state of the industry are almost always great.
I got an import of Excitebots seeing as we haven't had a release date for it over here in the UK yet. First import I've tried to get to load and it works a treat! I can even play online I'll grab my friend code tonight for ya'll.
Also still playing through Oracle of seasons, can't believe how much content that game's got!
I was watching a few videos for Monster Hunter Tri this weekend too, I think I'm more excited for that game than any other game this year (Please release it out of Japan!) I'm a big fan of Phantasy star online 1&2 and the game looks set to play very similar to those. At least we should be getting Phantasy star Zero for the DS. Any of you guys likely to pick that up when it comes out?
Been playing: Mario RPG - Legend of the Seven Stars, World of Goo (trying OCD challenges), Animal Crossing and Rhythm Heaven
I also tried some OCD challenges. The second level was tough. Took me a while until I got the OCD. I am worried that the later and longer levels would be frustrating to try to OCD. Very annoying to work for 10 minute only to realize you made a mistake at the beginning. Been also playing Castlevania 3, still stuck at the same level, but I did reach the boss multiple times. So I am getting better.
New week already?
Whatcha been playing, guys?
Bioshock, so fantastic. I am now in this theater area with this madman that wants me to kill certain people.
Also RE5 and GTA:CW. In GTA I found a penis rock on the beach. Best Buy has it at $20 now, everyone get it.

Love Fallout 3 though.
