New week, what have you guys been doing?
I'm mostly concerned about the availability standpoint on the podcasting as opposed to the technical side. I'd have no problem researching the best means of doing a podcast between several of us, but as you said, the dependency of everyone to schedule a time and be there, not just once, but consistently so, aside from the show planning and editing.

Can't forget this guy either. "Hi!"
Bioshock. It's due back tonight, and I'm only about halfway through the game.
I seriously have to find a copy of Astoboy. I keep hearing about it.
As for Podcasts let's just get on Skype or AIM and have a chat and record it.
One of the site's forefathers.
Play fighting games!
All this Bioshock talk made me get back into it again. I'm currently trying to make the... something vector. I like the fluid pace of the game, but so far the plot hasn't sink in me. I'm quite early at it, though.
Started FE: Path of Radiance. OMG, my only previous FE experiences were with GBA titles. Presentation is top notch. I know I'm in for a treat, and that makes me giddy like a schoolgirl. I'm a sucker for likeable characters as the ones presented in the FE series. I laugh with them and feel bad when something happens to them. I'll have to start looking for Radiant Dawn.
Been playin' Fallout. Good game.
And yes Punk - you NEED to find a copy of Astro Boy.
I played Fallout 2 and it was awesome but eventually I got to a dead end and didn't want to keep grinding. Buy "The Witcher" it is essentially a 3D Fallout only more fleshed out and no world map travel (so far).
One of the site's forefathers.
Play fighting games!
I've been playing lots of Tales of Vesperia, excellent game. Played some Mega Man 9 on the side. I've beaten three bosses so far. Also rented NHL '09 and played a little of that. Great game and I'll probably buy that one after I get Fable 2 and Gears of War 2.
I need to, I really need to.
Which version of the Witcher are you playing anyway?

"you will need to go through just one process in order to transfer Virtual Console or WiiWare software stored on an SD card to the Wii console and then be able to play it."
Right, the problem with this is that you still have to TRANSFER it to the wii memory meaning that if your drive is full than something will still have to be deleted and replaced. Not only that for larger WiiWare games this can take a fuckton of time. Sure if it's a VC game it will transfer in relative seconds, but WiiWare games. This is like a band aid slapped on a gaping wound.
Love that game. Be aware that there are characters everywhere that you can and should try to recruit. Generally you play fire emblem trying not to lose anyone at all in battle.
I used to love that game too apart from the hook sections. I got it on gba as well.
Those Tales of Despereux screens were weird, they looked too poor to be next gen and too good to be wii.
Thank you, forgetting that was bugging me. I only played the gba sequel not the DC game. It was kind of fun but it had too much slowdown and such to be good.
Vader would be like Shane Bettenhausen. I would be like John Davison.
Those are the DS visuals? They are so rich and colourful.
That's a good point to raise. I remember a few reviews criticising the presentation of Path of Radiance. What they didn't take into account was that our first exposure in the west to FE was the gba games so going to a home console version was like a generational leap LOL. This is what it's going to be like with me and Animal Crossing having not played the GC version. I'm going to be like "Animal Crossing HD!"
Path of Radiance is great as its soundtrack is virtually fully orchestrated quality most of the time, so it was a step ahead of mario, zelda and metroid in that regard. Tips for Steel: Don't overuse your Laguz, try and balance your team. Note that in some missions you will be able to take only about half of your crew so pick maybe one of each weapon wielder and work on them to make them great. Try and unlock every chest with a theif as they sometimes hold crests that can evolve your character like pokemon. Near the end of the game Ike needs to be quite powerful to take out the black knight, otherwise you can run.
Wow, Oboro is looking good. When is this out?
(Grand Theft Auto IV)
(Lara Croft in Tomb Raider)
(Grand Theft Auto IV)
(Cats in Zero Wing - All Your Base Are Belong To Us)
(Samus in Metroid)
(Cortana in Halo)
(Meryl in Metal Gear Solid)
Astro Boy - Omega Factor is a great GBA game but it does have incredible slowdown too. at one point i remember it was being sold very cheaply on websites like play.com etc but it's probably very scarce now. (gunstar super heroes as well)
Oborumuramasa is looking awesome and i can't wait for it.
Steel, like GG said, I would do some research about who you should be leveling up the most in fire emblem. I played the GBA one and I (thought I) was awesome, didn't lose a single character in battle, recruited many etc etc only to go to the final battle (some 30 hours or more into the game) and realise that I had no chance to beat it because I had been depending on/leveling up the wrong guys, and the units i needed for the final battle (ie the 3 lord units) were just weak and useless.

You talking about the first gba game where you HAD to use Hector Lynn and the other guy right? Thankfully Path of Radiance isn't like that. The final battle you use Ike obviously but anything else goes really. The only thing you really have to worry about is levelling Ike up for the battle with the black knight but you can just retreat and go onto the next mission. The only difference is you either pick up one new character over the other.
Which is why he'd be fucking awesome. As would you.
Yes that was the GBA one, Hector, Lynn and that red haired guy. I had got to that stage by pounding everything with Markus and Saine who were practically tanks by then only to discover that they were of no use in the final battle.
