The tone of everything in the That Dragon article is surreal, from Klepeck's bemused, political prose to the uncomprehending, frightened posts of the "trolls" and the PR gobbledygook of the developers.
"Bemused political prose" is what Klepek does best, from his days at 1UP and MTV to GB and Kotaku. Sometimes I think he leans into it way too hard, but in this case I think it's justified. Those people are just all sorts of WTF and deserve to be taken down a peg.

His article reads like propaganda for his own political agenda, which only applies to some of the bizarre commentary he's attacking: that he doesn't include the anti-religious dickheads when he brings up political agitators makes him just as reprehensible IMO...perhaps more so considering he's doing it as the editor of a major publication, not some dickhead on a Steam forum.

Zelda HD requiring the amiibo (oh how I can't wait until all these dumbass "ii" words are gone from Nintendo's vocabulary) to unlock a new area is pretty lame. Like almost microtransaction lame. Or GBA adapter required for Samus's extra suits in Metroid Prime lame.

This is only a rumour as it was listed as being the case by Amazon France, then withdrawn. It irks me to no end that Eurogamer, a site I visit daily and (used to) trust, will meekly copy an unfounded article from NeoGaf and Nintendolife, without even going through the effort to try and verify this with Nintendo Europe. This only furthers Foolz point that gaming journalism is not to be taken seriously on any level.
So at the moment we don't know any facts about this. Nintendo has been pretty good with DLC and extra content related to amiibo, where nearly all of it can just be purchased or unlocked through regular play, so I wouldn't go screaming murder just because of some lazy ass gaming journalism based on some bit of text on a retailers' website, which has already been removed.
Spotted yesterday at King's Cross at Platform 9 3/4s.
PS4 arrived. Games were sent separately and haven't arrived yet (I expect/hope to have them by next weekend). A friend said he'll lend me Dying Light and Batman though I'm not sure if I want to play anything on it before I get Bloodborne, Dark Souls II and Diablo III.
I may try some indie downloadable though if the spirit moves me.
OR ... wait ... do I get a month or at least two weeks of plus for free?

Depends on the system, I think. Most in the US come with some kind of Plus offer, but not all, iirc.

I never played more than 2 hours of it, so its new to me! Makes the time investment not so bad.
I have been playing a ton of Persona 4, I actually like it better than SMT 4. Must be the animu and social stuffs. The humor in it is quite different too.
I also took advantage of that PSN sale and nabbed both Danganronpa 1 and 2.
Valkyria Chronicles being released for PS4? Fuck me...I'm going to have to buy this game a 3rd time.
