yeah.

I don't know why they didn't try to clear the roads. We knew it was going to happen the last few days. In fact it was suppose to happen yesterday but they then said it would happen today.

Yes it's the graphics that are the issues...

.....well they suck, so it is an issue. But as I said, the controls are shit. Of course I only played it for a half hour, so I can only imagine what else is wrong.

Try playing it on your new PC. I guarantee its a much better experience.

I tried out the 360 version of Witcher 2 today. No wonder Vader didn't like it.

This version sucks. Holy shit the visuals are absolutely putrid. On PC, the visuals were VERY close to Witcher 3 quality. On 360 it looks like a Wii game.

And the controls....jeez, nowhere near as good as Witcher 3's pad controls. Again, playing W2 on PC with keyboard & mouse was much better designed.

Good thing they figured out console development for Wild Hunt.

Just because something isn't the best version, doesn't mean it's bad. I played Witcher 2 on 360 and absolutely loved it. It probably would have been my game of the year for 2012 if Mass Effect 3 and Borderlands 2 didn't come out the same year.

There was a television station around me that had a "If you haven't seen it, it's new to you!" campaign to boost viewership in the off season... I feel the same applies to games: If you haven't played the ultimate, best, optimal perfromance version of a particular game, you have no frame of reference and won't know any better.

What the Witcher does best ISN'T in the graphics or even the gameplay; they're both serviceable. It's the fact that Witcher doesn't pull punches at being more "mature" than most fantasy games and adds more depth to the entire world, characters and story than most RPG developers that churn out generic crap could ever hope to.

Witcher 2 was one of those games that just wasn't made for last gen console tech.
Should have saved it for a PS4/Xbone launch game.
Its not just the graphics. Its frame rate, loading, etc.

^ I don't remember any of those being an issue. As a matter of fact, the load times on the PS4 game stuck with me for being 100 times WORSE!

Tonight I watched a documentary called Atari: Game Over which I found on Netflix.  It's quite good and I learned a lot of stuff about the Atari generation of designers and videogames.  I think a lot of you guys would enjoyed it if you haven't seen it already.

Even commenting on a 20 year old piece of hardware is concerning to me. Might as well be saying, "when they talked about the NES they said you were playing with power, but it wasn't really that powerful."

Yeah I thought the 360 version of The Witcher 2 was just fine technically as well, it just wasn't as good as The Witcher 3 is in other aspects outside of the technical.

There's a big PlayStation Essentials sale on PSN right now. Some great stuff there. I got Suikoden for $1.50 and Final Fantasy VII for $4.00 on the PS3. There's some other good stuff like Final Fantasy Tactics and Xenogears for $4 each.

I also think they'll be souring any chance of us ever seeing a Virtual Boy 2.

To return to the topic of NEO, what I find most irritating are the on-track hazards, especially the crates being moved across the track and the fire exhausts in another.  Those 2 I hate with a deep burning passion.  angry

[videogamer.com]Teenager accidentally racks up $7,600 bill on FIFA microtransactions

If and when I ever own a console that allows for in-game purchases with stored credit card data, I'll be getting me one of those pre-paid credit cards that don't allow you to drop below zero.  Not smart of the parents to not keep a better eye on this, but with all the games these days that have microtransactions built in some way or another using such a credit card seems much more manageable to me than keeping an eye on everything without just flat out blocking all forms of microtransactions.

Unlocked the Supersonic league in Fast Racing Neo.

Then placed 10TH out of 10 in it. Fuck me this game is hardcore. I was pretty great in Fzero GX this is a whole new level of skill required. I also somewhat agree with bugs, when boosting, landing those jumps is critical and it's hard to spot some. One missed jump can nuke that race and thus your chances at the top three.

Ass. Lol

I played the game, the exact same game you did. Nothing is going to change the world structure, the boring combat, the half assed action adventure moments, and terrible inventory.
