Bought Persona 4 and FFX and X2 HD for Vita. Started both during the weekend, I like the first, tried to play the second a few times now but stopped.
I had the opposite reaction. Not thrilled with either, but I have put more time into FFX than Persona.
Only the last 3 or so MK games came with 16 remakes, all before only had 16 courses. Neo is a superb game, I'm sure you'll enjoy it GG. I really want to get back to this, I think I've so far unlocked the 4th cup in the middle speed setting.
How far in are you Bugs?
This is a different perspective than the vox populi, but at the same time, in games (yes I always have to bring things back to games), I always value a different voice, even if (or perhaps especially if) it is something new and different. And that Bowie introduced something different -- even if it was merely presentation -- I don't think anyone can deny, and for that I value his contributions.
Seriously. But then, why don't you still have your PS3 and collection? Just play them there.
But I fully agree with you. I am 100% for backward compatible.
I do....but honestly I hate the PS3 controller so much and love the PS4 pad, that I'd like to be able to play them that way. I know many games let you play with a PS4 pad on the PS3 itself, but its far from perfect and there's no vibration.
Also, in terms of the Xbox One? I have a feeling 360 games on XBone are going to be just like OG XBOX games on 360. In that, tons of great games will never be made compatible. If they couldn't get all the OG XBOX games to work, which only had 4 years worth of games...how in the hell are they going to get TEN YEARS worth of 360 games running on XBone? I don't see it.
Frn is awesome So fast it gives u a headrush its like they just dropped a fully fledged fzero into my lap. The stage design is also very smart.
Is this the best indie game ever? It matches any retail title. The amount of respect and my opinion on Shinen has gone through the roof.I am playing it on the WiiU. At the moment I have a love/hate relationship with this game. I hate dying and losing money. It makes me OCD and I have to exit the game and re-enter. Sometimes I even turn it off entirely in disgust.
This game is nothing like a NES game, and that's a good thing. The only thing that is NES-like are the clunky antiquated controls. I hate not having a separare button and having to push "down" for the pogo attack.
Still, hope I can at least finish it.

I completed all four cups in the subsonic league. I got gold in three of them. Haven't tried any of the faster leagues yet. I still play on subsonic as the few times when I played this so far I wanted the experience to be enjoyable without being too stressful. I suppose I will have to try the medium league soon (and enjoy finishing last every time). Some tracks require a lot of memorisation, I'm not sure if I like that in a recing game. Unless you know which way to go into a jump, you will end up landing off the track and exploding big time.

I disagree. I found that most tracks undulate in such a way that you can always glimpse what is ahead. The only track that requires memorisation is the one in the desert, without the boudaries. In all other tracks you can just mess up and let the boundaries guide you. The desert one you really have to think about the racing line just to not go off track every 2 seconds.
And then consider that the whole game is less than 600MB large.
I found that particular track to be the only one where I had to remove my finger from the throttle and press brake, just in order to maintain control and stay vaguely on track. Memorisation didn't necessarily make it much easier. There are a few others which have jumps which require you knowing which way you need to head in, otherwise it's impossible to make the landing. He can't always see far enough ahead, or there's no way of telling which way it's going unless you can remember it.

I'm glad there are track fencing in the game so you can go full pelt and not worry about falling off. Game is so fast it gives me a rush like a drug. Can't remember a game I've said out loud: Holy shit more at, in such a short period of time. The speed is insane.
The only thing I dont like is having to use 3 shoulder buttons. They should have one lean button and one boost button that's it. As it is I can only boost and lean left or contort my fingers for a 4 fingers all on shoulder button setup.
I use the same method of 'steering' on some of the narrower tracks. However, if you beat all the cups you unlock Hero mode, where your boost meter also accounts for your shield and it's perfectly viable for you to just blow up because of you were getting a tad too friendly with the fencing.
I use all four shoulder buttons. Strafe left, strafe right, switch engine polarity, boost. It took some getting used to.

It's my understanding that the emulation of the 360 on the Xbox One can basically run any game and the only real hurdle is getting the publisher to give the go ahead to allow their 360 game to be compatible on the Xbox One. I think we'll see a ton of 360 games available for play on the Xbox One and the only one's missing will be one's with outside licensing restrictions like Capcom and Marvel etc.
This version sucks. Holy shit the visuals are absolutely putrid. On PC, the visuals were VERY close to Witcher 3 quality. On 360 it looks like a Wii game.
And the controls....jeez, nowhere near as good as Witcher 3's pad controls. Again, playing W2 on PC with keyboard & mouse was much better designed.
Good thing they figured out console development for Wild Hunt.
Yes it's the graphics that are the issues...
