Supporting innovation is important to me, not to anyone else (apart from you). It’s totally fine to do everything else in this paragraph, though. It’s hypocritical to act like it’s all Nintendo’s fault, but it’s also hypocritical to act like it’s all the publishers fault. Nintendo made a stupid console for this generation. Publishers reacted by killing it off, then said it was shit to begin with...which it kinda was (I love the Wii U, but they shot themselves in the foot by releasing it so early, and so much weaker than the other consoles). So they both suck and they’re both to blame.

Your view and views like this are reliant on people who think the Wii U sucks and is shit to begin with. I don't share this view, so I never agree with people who seem to think Wii U sucks and deserves to die in hell, because EVERYBODY COULD SEE IT YEARS AGO BEFORE IT WAS EVER RELEASED bullshit. Wii was also a lot weaker and still got support, publishers are still making versions of "Next gen" games for weaker systems like the PS3 and 360 so the weaker argument is bullshit in many cases too. Hell Ubisoft will even go out of their way to make past generation Assasins Creed.
Capcoms recent RE decisions are repugnant and a blatant kick in the nuts to the people who bought those games in the first place and I'm a little tired of people here acting like I'm the only one to think so and giving me the weird stink eye. I'm not in the minority to this. Here are some other opinions from around the web:
I like how when devs do this to Nintendo, the majority never bats an eye; but everyone was clamoring and up in arms when Bayonetta 2 was a Wii U exclusive.

@liavcol Now I realize those 40+$ were a complete waste of my money. It was a fun game, and I really enjoyed it. I was hoping it'd turn out like FF:CC did for SE as in a Nintendo exclusive spin off franchise. But Naaah, they released it on consoles with more content. Which still didn't anger me much really... But this is dumb. Capcom appears to have a tendency to not really care about fans. I won't really be surprised when MH5 is announced PS4 exclusive or whatever. It just means it's another franchise I stop caring about.

This is stupid. I loved the first revelations on the 3ds. I still want to play the second revelations but now might get it cracked for pc in pure spite of this terrible decision.
I have long been a supporter of Capcom having bought EVERY Nintendo based Resident Evil but I am done with them after this BS (RE: Revelations 2 and RE: Remake HD skipping Wii U). It's especially stupid when you consider that RE: Revelations sold best on 3DS (also the main reason it sold worst on Wii U since most Wii U owners already owned it on 3DS and that version was actually better). Let's also remember that it wasn't Capcom that made the game which is probably why it was actually good (TOSE made RE: Revelations and I doubt they're working on the new one).
The numbers don't lie, for the current generation the Wii U is second place worldwide and first place in Japan by a wide margin (over a million more systems sold than PS4) so Capcom ignoring the system is just plain stupid when you consider the Resident Evil fanbase on Nintendo consoles due to previous "exclusives". These types of decisions are exactly why the company is sinking and why the people who made them a major third party have all bailed on them (Shinji Mikami, Hideki Kamiya, Keji Inafune). At this point, I am enjoying watching the company crash and burn and can't wait for other companies to come in and pick off the remains and actually do something right with their franchises. I look forward to Nintendo buying the Mega Man IP for next to nothing and reviving the franchise (Hell, they'll probably hire Keji Inafune & Comcept to do it).

On this, at least AAA games on Wii U try and make some innovative features with the pad and have offscreen play. It's something new vs nothing new. And lets face it, I need something to play, having something vs nothing? Obviously I choose something.

In the past there were alternatives, if you couldn't port Dead Space there was Dead Space extraction. THQ decided to make De Blob, EA made Boom Blox, Ubisoft made Red Steel, hell even Capcom made Zack and Wiki. Now.... there are no alternatives from these big companies. It's utterly boring.

Capcom has always done this. Wii got support cause it sold 100 million units, Wii U will sell less than GC. Yes they had basically one month to prove to devs the wii u wouldn't flop before all support was pulled, not that fair but that is business.
So my advice stays, buy a PS4 and be happy. I have a Wii U, I enjoy it, doesn't bother me one bit that it has no third party games cause I have a PS4.
But it yes you are right this sucks. The game industry sucks a lot at times. You need to many bet around the shit and find what works for you. If RE never went to the cube perhaps I never buy a GC. So good things sometimes come of it.
He doesn't need a PC. He needs a tablet. Its a nice easy transition between the Wii U and a tablet. And there's plenty of support from Square-Enix! Plus mobile is going to be our overlords one day anyway so learn to love it now.

Destiny review copies are going out the day before launch meaning there will be no reviews at launch. This is probably cause of some server issue or they want to prevent a bunch of people playing it before launch.
