I just bought Deus Ex original yesterday and Far Cry today for a total of like $5! I love you steam!
Has to be Japan only. All those where on the collection released in the west a few years ago.
Holy hell Leo -- what kind of virus did you catch?
Yeah I think he's Sailing. Sailing takes him away to where he's always heard it could be. Just a dream and the wind to carry him, and soon he will be free.

Around 30 degrees Celsius.
YAY! BUGSIE ! ! !
@Bugsie:
Where have you been, Mister?!
*big hug*
what's been up?
i've been traveling. went for a four days to the Czech Republic. My first time at a former eastern block country ... interesting. Also spent a couple of days in Wien. My first time there (or elsewhere in Austria). Very nice place.
On Sunday I go sailing for 4-5 weeks ...

That is SO. FRICKIN' AWESOME!
I need to get out of the U.S. so I could go on 4 or 5 week trips like that!
Enjoy ! ! !
PS: Did you play Monster Tale yet? I think I remember you getting it... I wrote a little bit more about it in my "Sick" blog recently!
Thanks bro, I hope to really enjoy it. It will be an extended version of the sailing trip I went on last summer which was really good. It's a great experience to go places with a boat just by harnessing the power of the wind. And also nice to live on board the boat for that amount of time, without a lot of the luxuries one has grown accustomed to (like consoles and a TV).
Haven't done any gaming for a long time, but I will take my trusted DS with me on board and hopefully enjoy some quality portable gaming

You're playing on PC? I just got Far Cry 1 off Steam recently too, but haven't had the chance to play more than a half hour yet. I can tell just from the beginning that its a totally different game than Far Cry Instincts on Xbox, which surprised me because I always thought Instincts was a semi-port. As it turns out, it was more like a side story or a retelling of the same setting and story through a different team's vision. Ubisoft have always done shit like that...different versions for different systems.
Can't wait to play it anyway. Still looks great.
I can't beleive that this:
Wasn't licensed. How fucking stupid do you have to be? They stole the trade dress, the console design, the name, the games... unbelievable.
The Atari brand and all that goes with it has been sold and reorganized many times over in the past 15 to 20 years. This is still a surprise, but at the same time not a complete shock. By this point in time I'm sure someone could have messed up in the due diligence process and ever since then it's been assumed they owned licenses when it wasn't the case.
That was licensed. That is, there was a Flashback 2 from Atari. The lawsuit is over knockoffs of the Flashback 2 package (though apparently they did rip off everything, including the packaging).

I wouldn't be so sure. It's clearly affecting your spelling!
God of War 2 is incredible. I love the opening and the new weapons so far are great. It's incredibly ruthless and non stop action. I'm gonna have fun with this one before moving on to God of war 3. It's a shame I missed out on this one when it first came out. Stupid Gamefly! *shakes fist*
