I'm thinking two. My first purchase, plus the store warranty one -- the store would have shown that as a purchase and taken the loss (since it was their warranty, not MS).
I still need to play Shattered Dimensions.
They need to make another Wolverine game cause the last one was badass.
Yeah not sure how they do this, on my 2nd PS3 and third 360 plus I bought well traded in my last refurb for a 250 gig Slim. so whats that bought 3. First one was replaced that lasted a while two years, it was still running as a matter fact when I bought an ArcadeFalcon with HDMI. That I still have, and the new one I traded in for the old non HDMI original refurb. So I have had 4 bought 3 damn I remember when I just bought a console and still have it , wtf?
Oooooo. That Spider-man cover looks awesome. I too need to check out Shattered Dimensions sometime as well. Yeah the last Wolverine was very good.
I wonder how they got those numbers for the three systems because the article says that the numbers are "active units" as opposed to just "units sold" or "units shipped".Well I'm running two units for my 360, I have one on computer desk hooked VGA to my 22 inch Sammy with nice headphones and one on HDTV. That does effect multiplatform game choice, because I like to the the option of playing close up on my computer desk with phones or on my HDTV through full system, so I tend to buy those games on 360 plus the obvious choosing the 360 reasons controller, Achievments, slightly better versions, thought lately I have done some multiplatform buying on PS3 Deadspace 2, RDR, Enslaved, Spiderman SD. I just like being Able to play in both places with diffeerent styles of play. At my desk I tend to do better sitting upright with headphones gives me advantage on MP games like Black OPS or MOH. I do better, at my HDTV I'm in this huge chair leaning with a sound system it feels different.
Great old Sega game started out on master system.
Friday morning, have a long weekend here. I'm off to Malta in a couple of hours. If my flights are OK I will see you guys again on Sunday evening. Hope y'all have a great weekend.

Aspro was joking but yeah ...the first Wonder Boy was a clone of Adventure Island. Or maybe it was the other way around. I'm sure Leo would know.

Have a nice trip, Bugsie. You have a good weekend too. Catch you up on sunday.
Nothing turns the ladies on more than a Shinji Mikami action figure sitting on your desk.![lol lol](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-laughing.gif)
Have a good trip, Bugs!
BTW...Crysis 2 is really killer guys. Anybody who is crazy enough to not have already bought the sequel to the best shooter since Halo 1 should really do so.
I decided to get C2 on the Xbox instead of the PC, so graphically its a bit hard to compare to C1 especially since the settings are worlds apart. I'd say C2 on Xbox definitely doesn't look as good as C1 on my PC, but for a console game it looks amazing with very photo-realistic environments and sounds. Its odd because the setting and vibe of C2 is so different from C1. It feels more like a sequel to Half Life 2 than it does a sequel to Crysis in some ways, yet the combat, controls, and suit powers are just like what you'd find in C1. C1 really felt like a sequel to Far Cry (moreso than Far Cry 2 in fact), which it basically was. But somehow this game manages to have a Half Life feel which is both good and bad depending how you look at it. Story doesn't seem too great so far though and I can't really tell how much it ties into C1 yet.
I'm a few hours into the campaign and as for that, it blows away anything you'd find in nearly every shooter out there. I think its better than Halo Reach so far, and obviously Call of Duty. Multi-player wise I don't know as outside of a tiny bit of the demo I haven't checked it out. Is it as good as C1? I don't think so, but its still a very high quality game in every sense. I do miss the tropical settings of Crytek's previous games, but at the same time its probably a good idea that they tried something totally different this time. I really wish I had one of those Razer Xbox controllers for this game though, as the way the controls are set up it would be ideal being able to map suit and weapon augmentations to the extra bumper buttons, instead of the back button on the normal Microsoft pad.
So, top notch graphics and sound. Great smooth controls. Satisfying combat. Vehicle use. Great weapons and suit powers. Lengthy campaign. Better than the competition.
I have been on a shooter kick for the last few months and I totally agree!
Oh god. I just noticed the date. I'll be back when the ridiculousness is over. See you on April 2nd.
What I did was hold down start and select on the menu page before I clicked the DS game icon to start. Then held it down right up to the point where the DS game screen came on with title and credits etc. It works, but the screen space is tiny and pretty much unplayable to me in that mode. You will know when the mode is engaged as you get huuuuuge black borders.
Nintendo america just trademarked Xenoblade Chronicles.
On another rpg note, I love how some rare GC games still hold their value. I just sold Tales of Symphonia for the price of a brand spanking new retail game.
This is what I keep telling people, NPD is just a monthly snapshot from a local market. Perceptions change when you look at the whole picture.
In Japan the lead is much higher. Remember over there the 360 has only sold about 1.5 million units. Off the top of my head I'd guess that there's probably a descrepancy of around 5 million between the two systems.
You know I was thinking this last night, this is what you get when you play 3DS just before turning in for the night.
At this point I would rather play all new Wii games on 3DS instead, like DQ10, Kirby Epic Yarn, Xenoblade etc.
Unless the games use the remote to a great effect like Silent Hill Shattered Memories or Skyward Sword for instance. I think Nintendo should get their shit together and put Fatal Frame 4 on 3DS.
Or, you know the Ring? The Japanese or american version of the first movie. When Sadako pops out of the TV screen? They could do that with 3DS and make me shit my pants. A Nintencat popping out of the screen freaked me out, Sadoko would give me a heart attack.
