I have to try out the 1:1 thing but I hear that because the 3DS screens are higher resolution you end up with a sharper but ironically smaller than original DS screen space to view.

EDIT: Okay did the start, select thing. It's terrible, you will know when it's in effect as you lose about half the screen on both screens with giant black borders on the top, left and right on the top screen. The screen is so small you just wont want to play DS games like that. Then I played it in normal 3dS mode and then tried the same game in my DS Lite.

Yeah, the 3DS is stretching the DS image across both screens and it's not pretty. It's okay but it leaves me with a horrible niggling feeling that I don't like.

I have never seen that and I have tried start select many times.

PS3 now the #2 console worldwide, wow, so 360 despite its amazing success is last place this gen, with a years head start.

Though if the PS3 is only ahead by a million in Europe and down 10 million in the US, I bet Japan is only a few million lead, where are they getting numbers to beat 360? Middle East? South America? Australia?

I have no idea how PS3 even managed to stay alive, let alone be 2nd place. I know they pull a bit of sales from odd countries where nobody else has really bothered with. One thing with Sony is they have very far reaching distribution and marketing.

Some sites provide a different link for their RSS feed so they can track stories.  I link from an RSS reader, Robio probably had the straight link from the site.  I took down my duplicate stories, looks like Robio just beat me to it on that one.
