What is that chick actually trying to do? Munching on invisible corn on the cob?
Which makes it 100% appropriate for the quote you posted it to
In keeping up with my reputation of always being very LTTP, for the first time since I bought it upon release back in the day, I have been thinking about actually playing this.
Does it really take 120 odd hours just to finish this game? That's the only thing that's keeping me. I've played JRPGs before like FFIV and DQIV etc but never anything longer than 45-50 hours.
Also ... I so wish I'd bought the limited edition with the funky red classic controller and the sexy box.
I think my playthrough clocked in at 128 hours, and thats's not counting the endgame stuff I did. Totally worth it though.
You can do the story in 60 hrs I hear but don't worry about playtime, it's easy and enjoyable throughout.
You CAN do it in 60, but it'll be a LOT more challenging since you won't be leveled up properly for the end which gets pretty tough.
I usually take longer than most people for such games. It took me over 70 hours for Twilight Princess (though that was possibly because I just didn't want it to end).

Just use that area right outside the fight you're at now to level up some.
the fuck? This boss?! I took ages levelling up to 76 and I can't level up any of my arts more without advanced manuals. I'm creaming telethias left right and center. So I finally head back into the Lorathia battle and I barely take a half centimeter from her life bar. Meanwhile my team are standing in acid, this bitch is sending everyone to sleep and all that leveling up was worthless. Does this bitch have regenerating health?
SUPREME LIED. YOU CAN'T BEAT LORATHIA WITH SHARLA AND REYN. YOU SCREWED ME

Stop your whining. I already told how to beat her. So implement it already!
someone make me a should've listened to Iga sig. 4 wasted years...gamingeek said:SUPREME LIED. YOU CAN'T BEAT LORATHIA WITH SHARLA AND REYN. YOU SCREWED ME
Hey now, the fact you can't do it doesn't give you the right to call me a liar, nor to type in all caps.
I've been reading Iga and Vaders tips for Lorathia. I don't have aura blast or regen. I'm trying to wrap my head around dealing with the menus after so long.
Iga: Use wind first, then lighting, then summon copy. Then discharge everything. This will do a ton of damage. Also make level 6 electricity gems to increase the damage of the lighting attacks. Also use level 6 agility, ether defense and physical defense gems.
I've loaded Dunban up with Agility gems, swapped out equipment for Melia - need to assign her gems next.
Vader: With Melia you have to cast spells by selecting them, that creates a buff of some kind (you want regen on all the time). You can have 3 active at a time, then hit the middle button to use the spell on the enemy. If you have three active you can use the middle button 3 times to send each spell at them. Then cast three new ones. Keep casting regen. Have riki too cause he heals far better than melia does and is a tank. Keep them on Lorinthia, ignore everything else constantly tell them to attack her.
I didn't realize you had to hit the middle button to enact the spells doh! I don't have Regen? Is the name right?
Vader: I give riki the healing art, some of the physical ones like backattack and the one that makes them bleed. For that boss have more spells, he has flame, ice, poison. Shulk just let him be, the key is to warn him when a vision happens so you can use the correct blade power. If you see a vision of a red attack, use speed spell on the character targeted. If you see a white attack coming cast shield (and hope you leveled it enough).
Keep telling your teamates to attack only the boss, ignore everything else.
So Aura Blast is just the middle button?
I hear from IGN that Level 75 Disciple Lorithia. Disciple Lorithia has very high physical defense from all sides. So that's why my attacks were barely hurting her.
So both you guys say to use Riki? No Dunban for this boss?
