I don't think I'll be making a top 100 list of my own. I wouldn't even know what to put in the top 10, let alone remember 100 games I like.

Just out of curiosity I check how many games from each era I have:
PS3 gen - 32 (only 8 of these are in the top 50)
PS2 gen - 27
32/64 bit - 22
16 bit - 9
8-bit - 8
Current - 4

No RE4 is the best game of that generation.

Clearly no wonder why PS is by far my favorite consoles. But that list doesnt tell the whole story because a lot of that is simply where I choose to buy my 3rd party games and PS is clearly the best for that. So lets do it by exclusives, timed exclusives that I played count as well (RE4 for GC for instance). This should give a better representation of what that particular system brought to my list.

PS2 takes the top, what I say is the greatest console of all, so it all lines up. Now I will say about 70% of those games are now playable elsewhere but they were on PS2 first.

I also went through 2 and a half broken ones. The current one I have is selective about which games it will play and is one marathon secession of gaming away from death.
I always sold my PS2 for a newer model every year so mine probably never had a chance to break down.
I am just doing this on a whim.
