Their audience swings heavy rpg/ heavy pc.
I'm fine with SMG winning, it's not as good as SMG2, but it did all the heavy lifting for the series.

I enjoy the weird cross genre match ups. I think that is when we learn most about a person. I will forever know which of you chose DQ8 over Zelda or Katamari over MGS3, weirdos.

I'm curious to see the breakdown between votes per region. So I will tally them up.

From the results we can see that not one European voted for RE4, whilst the bulk of North American votes went to RE4, twice as much as the North Americans who voted for Galaxy. The Austrailians were divided but there was one voter who hadn't played one of the games.
Mexico also favoured Galaxy.
From this I can say that Super Mario Galaxy HD is on the way on Wii HD, it's the only logical conclusion.

my personal choice is probably Twilight Princess. Zelda is my favourite template for a game, and Twilight Princess does it to near perfection.

I probably would have gone wiith Dragon Quest VIII if I could have just picked one game. I had such a good time playing it that it's the only game of that length (40+ hours) that I immediately started to replay after completing it. Kingdom Hearts and RE4 would have also been acceptible winners as well in my eyes.
