But seriously, that's crazy.

When will somebody put a large stick of butter between two buns!

You guys have no idea. I've been watching this Man vs Food tv programme. The food in that show tops everything I have ever seen.

Denny's Fried Cheese Melt Pushes Gooey Cheese Tolerance To New Levels
By Chris Morran on August 11, 2010 1:15 PM

Fried Cheese MeltHave you ever been eating mozzarella sticks and thought, "these would be soooo much better in a sandwich"? Or maybe you've been snacking on a grilled cheese sandwich and wondered how improved it would be if it also had fried cheese sticks between the bread? If so, then Denny's is about to roll out the perfect sandwich for you.

The restaurant chain recently announced a bunch of new items to its value menu. And while most of them are nothing new -- quesadilla, fried shrimp -- the "fried cheese melt" caught our eyes and stopped our hearts.

The sandwich, which should sell for $4, is "made with four fried mozzarella sticks and melted American cheese grilled between two slices of sourdough bread. It is served with French fries and a side of marinara sauce." It and the other new items should be available starting Aug. 24.

Now if someone would just take two of these fried cheese melts and wedge a burger between them, Friendly's would have some real competition.

^ I love me a grilled cheese sandwich every now and then, but that's going too far! I bet it would taste good, though. Grinning

Man v. Food is one of my favorite shows. In fact, I'm planning on hitting Munchies 420, the restaurant he went to in Sarasota, FL for one of his challenges. He did some insanely spicy wings which I'll pass on, but they still have ridiculous food. All sorts of overstuffed 3 lbs. sandwiches that put that thing from Denny's to shame.

And for the record I"ll be eating that one of these days too.  Fuck my cholesterol.

Is Dennys the US equivalent of Little Chef?

What happened to Wendys? They came into the UK in the 90s then just disappeared.

^ Wendy's is big over here. There are 15 stores in my city, one of them is within 3 miles of my house. I like their All-You-Can-Eat Chili day. Happy

Their burgers are so much better than McDs and Burger King. Damn, they withdrew from the UK faster than Steelo's penis out of a girl.

They were the only burgers worth eating on the high street. I don't even bother with McD's burgers and the only Burger King one I like is the bacon double cheese, but I feel ridiculously unhealthy eating it.

I prefer Nandos.

i remember there being 3 wendy's restaurants in london in 1998.  One in King's Cross, one on Shaftesbury Avenue and one on Oxford Street.  All three of them closed down overnight, and soon thereafter transformed into McDonalds.

square burgers FTW
