I want to hate it, but I liked the GTAVI trailer. Nothing really to comment on other than the art style, but I like how chunky it is.

Thank you, guys, for all the well wishes for my wife. She's a lot better, just taking it easy at home.

Yeah, I didn't comment yet, but the best of wishes to her of course.  Glad to hear she's doing better.

I feel the same.  I'll still not play it though.  I feel uncomfortable with "realistic" violence.

I got Minute of Islands and Project Warlock on sale.

I'm a bit disappointed that Project warlock has no gyro aiming. Otherwise its cool.

BTW the Star Ocean 2 demo is awesome.

GTA trailer did look fun, but not sure if I'll play it or not. Generally I don't play the GTA series, but the original Vice City was an exception. My wife lived in Miami during the late 80s and early '90s and would actually sit and watch me play it because she would get a kick out of identifying buildings, streets, and hotels that she recognized from her time down there.

GTA is one of those games that I buy, put 2-3 hours into it, and realize I don't like doing anything except drive around the city as fast as I can and crash into stuff. And I can do that in Gran Turismo.

Yeah but does it have a girl twerking on the roof of a moving car?

I don't think GT's physics engine supports soft body physics.

Also, those are some advanced physics.  You've got the twerking combined with the acceleration/deceleration and centrifugal force of the car all working on that digital butt.  If it's not possible to force that car into a sudden stop and see that girl violently be propelled forward towards the asfalt I'll be very disappointed.

[eurogamer.net]New patent for DualSense controller that can provide gameplay hints "Hey! Listen!"

So the controller could light up buttons to tell you what to do, even move joysticks on it's own.  One step closer to AAA gaming's dystopian wet dream: ditching gameplay altogether and just being a B movie.

Baldur's Gate 3 has now had 5 large patches fixing all kinds of issues and even added an epilogue. Should I buy it now or wait for further improvements . . . ?

Edit: I bought it. Allow the downloading to commence!

There’s rumours circulating that the game may launch on Game Pass. It’ll likely be announced and dropped on Xbox Series systems at tomorrow night’s VGA’s.

To be fair though you’ll likely be playing this game for a VERY long time.

True. I got it for PC, so I can play it with a mouse and keyboard too.

I'm at 121 hours and I'm at the beginning of Act 3 --AND-- I'm fully planning on playing it again, so you're not gonna want to rely on a service that could drop it at any time to play it. Trust me on this one!
