I am making my way through Dragon Quest Treasures, and I'm pretty much at the end of the game as best I can tell. I thought I would finish it tonight, but instead, we're at Krampus fest tonight, which is a holiday from Germany that celebrates doing horrible things to bad children. God bless, the Germans.
My wife was admitted to the hospital after an urgent care found that she had an ulcer and her hemoglobin was real low. So that was my weekend adventure, running back and forth to the hospital for the whole weekend. Shes home now after a blood transfusion and lots of medication and seems to be better.
I did manage to play some Supraland Six Inches Under today after we finally got settled at home.
I'm glad you guys took action quickly, and she's doing better. In my own circles, I've seen way too many serious illnesses and deaths in 2023. I don't want any of you or your family members to add to that.
Psaro and his monster army await you when you're done with Treasures!
Treasures was a pleasant enough romp, mostly for memorabilia sake, but Dragon Quest Monsters feels like a proper DQ game!
DQM is on my list the first time it goes on sale. But I needed to scratch the itch and Treasures was finally cheap enough that it was worth jumping into.

Oh lord. At least she's home now.
She has stomach discomfort along if I remember correctly?
My GP has referred me for an MRI for my spine and other tests.
Like wow, the title screen alone on Mario Wonder looks spectacular on the OLED screen.
Ibplayed the first level then did it again on the TV. It was jagger and less colourful. Then I switched on the Mclassic + 2k dongle and the jaggies were gone, it was sharper and the best thing was the Mclassic boosts the colour so you get more vibrant looking games.
Pikmin 4 looks pretty sweet on the OLED. Won't play it for a while though.
So on the Switch 2 front, the latest Rumour is a summer 2024 release. People figure because level 5 has delayed a shitload of switch games to that date for no apparent reason. When asked for the exact date of Fantasy life, they said they had a date in mind but won't reveal it for "strategic reasons".
Also Korean tech news is saying that Nintendo is contracting Samsung for next generation OLED panels. So maybe switch 2 will have an oled panel?

if it were any other company, I'd say this is a good sign that we have a Switch 2 date. Unfortunately, Level 5 has a pretty well established history of making bone-headed decisions. So for all we know, one of their higher ups looked at a star chart and said they're astrologer said it would be advantageous if they waited for everything they had.

Another Rumour last night, from two different sources saying the Switch 2 will be released "early next year".
I think they might be confused and mean revealed not released. Some of the most interesting rumours are coming from Samsung sources and leaks. They seem more credible if only because they are tech leaks who normally only cover Samsung and mobile stuff. It's rumoured that Samsung will be manufacturing the chips etc in switch 2.

Good that she is at home and recovering.
Sorry to hear that Travo. Glad to hear that she is back home and feeling better.

Yes, ever since she's had her gallbladder taken out.
Don't know how you guys get by with private health care.
At least we don't have to worry about getting into debt when sick, it's one thing we don't have to worry about.
So Mario Wonder and Pikmin 4 arrived.

Yep, been on my mind this past weekend.
The GTA VI trailer is out!
That GTA VI trailer looked awesome. I’m kind of bummed that the game won’t be out until 2025 though.
Hope your wife's recovery is going well, Travo.
I never realized you were a stickler for realistic dong physics Raven.
Thank you, guys, for all the well wishes for my wife. She's a lot better, just taking it easy at home.
