I beat Angelo and Deemon: One Hell of a Quest.
There were no reviews so I took a chance when it was cheap enough. Its an adventure game. It looks the part, with nice artwork but it's a fairly hollow experience. Characters and story are just okay. Ending not satisfying. Adventure game enthusiasts will get something out of it but most normal people won't find it any good.
It's not funny, at all and the translation is stilted which leads the English voice actors to read lines in broken English.
I feel like the team could make a decent game if they had the right story and localisation staff. As It stands this is a throwaway experience.
I played through the first couple levels in Sonic Superstars and I am quite happy with this game so far. It feels exactly like the Genesis Sonic games: fast, responsive controls and lots of exploration in the levels.
Going to be quite the Friday this week. Really looking forward to picking up Spider-Man 2 and Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

I completed the new season of Castlevania on Netflix yesterday night. It just dawned on me that Alucard is Dracula spelled in reverse.
Yeah just too much of everything right now. All success problems.
I think we as a society meassure success too much solely on the monetary value we represent. If you're making money, but don't have time to enjoy that success, then what good is it to you?It's a difficult balance and I'm certainly not saying I'm any better at achieving it.
What if you're not making money, and also have no time to enjoy that...success? Switch up your strategy completely.
Sonic Superstars is great fun. I'm really enjoying it, which is something I never thought I'd say about a modern Sonic game. 👍

My youngest is in his final year of high school. All the others are out of the house living there more or less adult lives. I am so close to reclaiming a child-free life I can taste it.
Of course, the youngest also has fairly unrealistic expectations on what he wants to do once he's done with high school, so I suspect despite his plans he will be living with us for some time.
