What kind of crazy asshole plays on PC?
You just had to go there lol
So I was wondering what your thoughts are on VR regarding how it will impact console sales of XB1 and NX?
Usually people get a variety of consoles but given the console like price of VR equipment will people rather buy that then one of the opposing consoles?
Also, how do you think MS is feeling about XB1 sales so far? They did really really well with 360 and suddenly as the winds change, fickle consumers have chosen someone else as the dominant console provider for another 5-7 years. Leaving MS with lower than expected sales. What do you think they are thinking about all this? Whether it's worth it? How they could "win" next time? If it's even worth continuing? With Nintendo there is not much choice, its make consoles or goes third party, with MS, consoles aren't even their main business.
Haven't seen anything like that...
Is the non-gaming forum not working for everyone else?
Tadaa!
I've only now been having some problems actually accessing the site.
Seems to have resolved itself.
Wow! Totally seems like the type of game to inspire something like that.
Alice: "How long is forever?" White Rabbit: "Sometimes, just one second.”
I don't think VR is going to impact anything except for Sony's bottom line.

I'm sure he's just talking about the chances of Sonic becoming an AAA franchise again thanks to the NX. Right? RIGHT?!
Anyone else find the 4K PS4 puzzling? I can understand for VR but chasing 4KTV users as a new standard? What's the 4K TV pick up rate? Does anyone actually want one?
I actually understand chasing 4K TV more so then the VR. 4K TV is quickly taking over. 1080p sets are getting dirt cheap and more and more 4K TV sets are appearing all the time. Of course I want a 4K TV, I mean why not. Starting to see some stuff broadcasted in 4K too. I think VR is just going to be an expensive novelty.
I think he's talking about the NX being an Xbone with a funky controller.
Also, don't forget how few owned HD ready of FullHD TV's back when PS3 and X360 hit.
I bought my first HDTV about 6 months after 360 came out.
I just had an epiphany. I have solved the problem of moving around in a 3D space in VR. Gentlemen and gentlemen, I present to you:
The segway. It moves back and forth and turns, all simply by shifting your balance, something even the PSVR's camera could easily make out.
And so the largest hurdle in VR has been overcome, thanks to the Segway's rather large wheels.

But in't there a lack of 4K content? It seems that the tv guys are focusing on high end 4K as a way to make us all upgrade and buy something new. I haven't seen anyone complaining about 1080p.
Also to do that many pixels above 1080p you have to have powerful systems whose rendering will mostly be spent on chasing resolution rather than generally improving graphics.
