I think I played a bunch of Dragon Quest Heroes this weekend but I'm too drunk to think of anything else.

Just got to the point where Terry joins my crew!

What about you, Lightlings?

Can someone please tell me what the hell is the rationalization of the fucking motorcycle level of Bayonetta??  All I can do is die...then die...then die again. Oh yes, and drive off the edge till I die. Fuck almighty.

This weekend I played a ton of Splatoon, some with GG and Supreme.  The fun of that game is that the whole family wants to play.  I'm usually taking turns in turf war with my son and wife.

I also played a bit of Destiny and look forward to diving into this game again and finishing it.  Anyone interested in some co-op?

Haven't much gaming at all in the past few days due to this whole 'Christmas' thing going on. I did squeeze in a couple of matches of Halo 5 and Black Ops III though.

Played some FRNeo, XCX and Splatoon this weekend.

Felt good coming back to Splatoon, even if I was a bit rusty.  I'd like to play some more and head back into ranked matches to try and improve my A- rank.

XCX is coming along nicely.  I want to start chapter 5, but have to do an affinity mission first, which requires me to first locate where to innitiate said mission.  Hrm

FRNeo is superb.  It's challenging, insanely fast and the level design is top notch.  The levels twist, turn and undulate like a twisty-turny undulating thingy, yet every corner, every boost strip can be glimpsed split seconds before you arrive at it, allowing  you to lign yourself up to make the most out of it.  And when I say lign yourself up, I mean that in a very broad sense of the word.  The game has a convincing sense of weight and place, helped along by some great sound effects.  Every time you land your craft after a jump there's a big thud and everything rattles.  You don't as much glide past the sides of the track, you bang in to them.  It's all very visceral.  As for the sides of the track, there's this one course set in a desert, and it has no boundaries.  Which sounds like a cool concept untill you realise that said desert is littered with a lot of rocks for you to crash head-first into.  Just staying on the track is neigh impossible, let alone worry about how I'm ranking in the race.

Stealth Inc. 2 is really hard but really good.  Reminds me of the first two beloved Oddworld games!  Hmm come to think of it I think I have them downloaded on the PS3 or have at least bought them from the PS Store.  I miss Abe.

How many courses are there in the NEO?

Can we play online together?

How about we all play Mario Kart 8 instead?  I really miss Mario Kart 8.

16 courses in total. There is online play, but I haven't tried it yet. I'm up for some Mario Kart, but we just never meet up like we do in splatoon.

I have more time on my hands for the next few days since I'm off work (for the most part) and I haven't left the country so I should be able to climb online at short notice.  I have Splatoon here but it's still shrink-wrapped.  It scares me the way online shooters do.  With Mario Kart I'm having fun even when I'm not winning.

And 16 courses is quite good, especially since they are supposed to be so radically different and so fast (which means you need a lot of acreage to get a decent lap length.

That's like half the number of courses Mario Kart 8 came with originally.  15 euro for Neo is pretty good value I think.  I may try it today.  Though for the moment I seem to be masochistically addicted to Stealth Inc. 2

We're leaving for london on wednesday, but if I see you playing MK today or tomorrow I'll join in. If you should sign on and boot up MK when I'm playing something else I'll pop it in as well. And you shouldn't be afraid of splatoon. I don't like online shooters, but splatoon is very different. You can have a great time without seeking confrontation as well.
