That was $48
I wipe my ass with toilet paper. But that's what I was raised to do.
I almost got that eshop deal but I want a physical copy. Black Friday, perhaps.
I'm glad I'm not the only one.
I thought they were ok, nothing mind-blowingly great but nice little diversions.
"How video games are saving symphony orchestras"
lol.
Xenoblade Chronicles X has a huge World Bigger than Fallout 4 and the Witcher 3 combined
I'd take that with a grain of salt. Bigger in a geographical sense? possibly. Bigger as in more to do, more lively? I highly doubt it. Xonoblade on Wii also had some large expanses, but that was exactly what they were. Expanses of nothingness.
I could be mistaken here of course, I didn't watch the video as I don't want to spoil too much of the game before I get to actually play it.
Digital Foundry over at Eurogamer have a good piece on the rendering technology behind Rise of the Tomb Raider. They break down and comment on a lot of the seperate rendering techniques used in the game, what works, what doesn't... What might prove of specific interest to some forumites here is that DF was left unimpressed by the physics based lighting on certain materials and not in the least on rock textures.
Does anyone else in here enjoy reading about the technology behind games, or are you the kind of person who doesn't care about how it's done?
It is in landmass but there is still a lot to do.
The video was just of one person playing Xenoblade Chronicles X and another playing Skyrim and the did a time lapse of how long it took to cross the map. It took the Skyrim player roughly 25 minutes and the Xenoblade Chronicles X player that same time to not even get halfway across the map and he was piloting a Skel/Doll.
They had a voice-over explaining the size of the world than saying it might be unfair to compare a current gen game with a last gen game so they said you can cross the map in Fallout 4 5 times before you cross it once in Xenoblade Chronicles X and cross the world of Witcher 3 3 times before you cross it in Xenoblade Chronicles X. The Witcher 3 has load screens while Xenoblade doesn't.

Nuff Said.
I didn't see the video but AlphaOmegaSin had a video about it.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Woah!
It better be more than a xenoblade infomercial.
I couldn't care less for what it's about. Here's hoping that the new direction keeps the whimsical tone of the previous directs.
They said new info for upcoming Wii U and 3DS games.
Xenoblade Chronicles X has the survival guides which is suppose to act like the infomercial. We are still suppose to have two more before it releases.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
This is better because it shows the actual footage
Unzips pants
I'd buy that for a dollar.
Why isn't Splatoon working today?
