OK, let's do the Trifecta. But I love Mario Kart 8 so much more than the others. Playing it again now after several weeks ... what bliss!
And showing it to my cousin who has never seen or played a WiiU before and who looked at me with suspicion when I was trying to tell him it was not the same thing as a Wii. Now playing MK8 he has a big silly grin he can't wipe off his face.
Like a kid on a rollercoaster. This game is amazing.

I don't think we should aim for 3 games per week. We'll just end up spreading ourselves thin, as no one can make it online 3 days a week, every week. Perhaps we need some kind of rotation system. Something like a selection of 2 games, to be changed every 4 hours? Yeah, something like that would work out great

Sorry GG but Splatoon just doesn't really do anything for me plus there's too many other games coming out that I'd rather get.

That's sad. I'd say it's the most fun I've had on Wii U bar none.
The matches are so dynamic, the movement, environments, weapons and players make it feel like you are 10 years old playing paintball in the woods. Totally awesome fun, gives me that same childlike grin when I was playing Super Mario Galaxy - when I'm winning of course. I think the reviews were hurt because of the content, but it's added so much since then with more to come - this is easily a AAA game.
Bugs, if you were put off by not being able to aim there are now numorous brushes and rollers. The brushes let you bomb about the levels at super speed and you can drop beacons your team can use to super jump behind enemy lines. You can also use them like a sword to melee fools to death in a couple of swishes, popping out of the ink like a freaking ninja.
There are now faster and slower rollers availible too. You can drop down from above like a mario ground pound and one hit kill unsuspecting fools below.
BTW the multiplayer is better than Mario Kart. IMO

Yeah I played the beta of Splatoon and I can see why it would be fun. It's not that I think that it's a bad game or anything. I totally get those kind of fun and joyous moments, I definitely get those kinds of feelings as well just from other games.
When I wake up in the morning there will be a brand new DQ revealed, hopefully a PS4 DQ.

Yes, it is confusing, because if he was active in his faith and community, that was a core part of his personhood (which is why you love him). But faith in Christ can be strong in many denominations, so hopefully he can find one that is more aligned to his beliefs.
But there is some sort of loss if he was tied into a faith community. (Leaving a community you love over principle is probably not a great idea -- yes of course it is on paper and in movies, not so much IRL).
Keep in mind these statements come from a non-Christian who is pro-marriage equality.
