I kept playing some more. Everything seems better, I actually care now about the characters and their motivation. I care about the story! (I didn't give a shit about anyone, including Geralt, during my 50+ hours with the first one, here I'm gasping with each plot surprise).
Yep it keeps you engaged through the entire game. All the characters are really cool and I love how they portray the elves.
So I just played a bunch of For Glory online battles in Smash. What a night and day difference in performance! I must have played 15-20 rounds, and I only saw any noticable lag once! And that did not negatively affect the gameplay. How For Fun can be such complete shit, and For Glory be so awesome performance-wise is shocking. Thanks again, Robio! You saved this game from being forever shelved or sold. I actually had a lot of fun playing it tonight, even though I lost every single match.
Good to hear. For Glory players are too concerned about their rank to play with a crappy connection, so it's rarely a problem. God knows if I understand why though, since there's no real clear way to see anyone's rank. Now that you have your game though, we all need to schedule a smash night. For Glory matches are fun, but you don't get the entire free-for-all chaos that you get with all the items and real levels.

Yeah every once in awhile I'll play some For Fun matches because I really enjoy using the items.
I found out what happened to the Director of Code Veronica.
He did indeed leave Capcom for Platinum Games, where he was a designer on Vanquish. Has never directed another game, even though Code Veronica was amazing. And he has since left gaming and joined Aspro in the fields...

So basically, every single major player from Resident Evil's heyday is gone, and I don't even think the guys in charge now ever had any real LEARNING TIME with any of them.
You loved Bayonetta 1 when you went back to it so much that you're guessing I don't want 2 to end?
Actually (as is recorded) I found it to provide just as many difficulties the second time around. Style over substance to the extreme, and while I do usually go for that, frustration ultimately ended my time with Bayonetta on the PS3, though I will stumble back onto the hirsute heroine's hustings once more this week in anticipation of our show.
Outbid in the last 4 seconds. But frankly it was a mercy killing, I had bid too much for a used system.
Seeing as how Australia is generally treated as a third world country I can already guess that the answer is "no" but I'll ask this anyway. Nintendo.com sells refurbished Wii U's for $200 complete with a warranty. Any chance that kind of offer is available for you guys?
My sympathies.
I really want a pet wombat.
I have platypusses, echidnas, kangaroos and rock wallabies on my farm, but no wombats:

That's really cool. I'm guessing they cost about $800?

I'm up for smash This week, although Time differences might get in the way. I'll also be a bit rusty...

And the dude who Directed Nemesis, Kazuhiro Aoyama, I have no idea what he's doing now. But Nemesis was his biggest accomplishment.

Vanquish, God Hand and farming are all better than Code Veronica so that dude's career worked out well.
Wish me some good Ebay karma, my latest Wii U Ebay bid comes up in 3 hours.
