I don't know what it is about this one, but its just not doing it for me. The first Dead Space is a classic & one of the best Horror games of the past 10 years. The 2nd wasn't quite as good, but still a very well made game. But 3....it just feels generic and forced to me, and I find myself having to force myself to play it. I'm actually stuck on a fucking boss fight that I just can't seem to beat for the life of me which is annoying in and of itself. And its another one of these modern games where they design all these set piece ACTION ACTION ACTION sequences, just fuck off. I don't want to have to kill a wave of 100 dudes at a time. Is this horde mode from Gears of War?
I remember someone here saying they liked it...Travo maybe? But for me, I'm halfway through and I just get more annoyed as time goes on....must force myself to finish it. They really lost the magic IMO.

I'm exactly where you are with the original and number 2. I consider the first a masterpiece and I thoroughly enjoyed the second. I came close to buying number 3 many times but somehow always held back. Don't think I would appreciate the focus on action.
Edge, I'm sure I know exactly what boss you're on. In an arena, right? DS3's problem to me is that it is a little long, but it was still my second favorite behind the instant Classic DS1.
As much as I wanted probably not. Not at launch anyway. I just have too hard of a time playing action games on handhelds. And despite Capcom repeatedly saying there will be no console version I'm still hoping for one.
Same here butbutbut MONSTER HUNTER
Yeah I know. I'm pretty sure I'll break down at some point. At the very least though I need to get one of those pro controller things for my 3DS. No way am I going to attempt playing it with the regular controls.
I think its more pointless to buy a game that's only a few years old that only has an HD facelift. This is a good way to get these games into the hands of people who want to buy them at a very reasonable price.
So you're praising the advantages of having games "that are only a few years old".... with..... no benefits?
They are only half price for a week then they are £18 which is more expensive than buying some older current gen games at the moment. I can get Arkham Origins or the COD games for £12. So if they are going to be £18, make them HD. If they are not, then enable the patch to use my current Wii games on U actually using the controls on the U pad.
That's difference between how you and I choose to look at this. It's a Virtual Console release as far as I'm concerned. It's allowing me to get a few really great back games from a previous generation without having to pay through the nose or spend time looking for a good deal on a used game. And frankly since I'm kind of cheap, I'd rather have the standard version of the game for $10 rather than pay $50 or $60 for the same game with prettier graphics.
If it's any consolation, I was away for most of the day today and completely missed the opportunity to order any of the special edition New 3DS's. By the time I got to my GameStop, they only had red systems available.
Everyone missed out on special Majora's Mask Collectors... and I missed out on everything else.
Pre-ordered Majora, Monster Hunter and a Red one anyway, but would have liked at least ONE of the specials... Oh well.
If anyone is interested, I was just able to pre-order the Monster Hunter New 3DS on GameStop.com... I suggest you hurry if you are even a tiny bit on the fence!

What? How?
I hadn't even heard of there being a demo?
On a related note, SMG2 is a 1.4 GB download. Not bad.

This is the North American boxart for Splatoon.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
I just finished downloading Super Mario Galaxy 2 on Wii U.
First.
Hey Edge I know you'll appreciate this, Allison Williams' character got her ass eaten out on the HBO show Girls.
Make me wish I watched the show.

Shit, she got her salad tossed alright. I've never jealous of any male costar until today.
Let me thumb this down dammit!
Nope. You know how I knew the file size? I beat you by 30 minutes noob!!!
I just finished Shadowrun returns!
