I still would like to play the full game one day,
Lame.
If the only other person who thought it was mediocre was me, then yes you are alone on this one.
Since Bravely Default isn’t out in North America until February, there aren’t a whole lot of reviews published for Bravely Default. However, it’s true that the game launched in Europe last week, and a few verdicts emerged leading up the game’s release in PAL territories. A roundup of reviews can be found below.

No way its better than Chaos Theory. No fucking way!
Sweet man, I can't wait to get mine.
Check file integrity. Unless that's what Foolz meant with sync thing. Then I got nothing. o_O
I really like the movement animations in that Pillars of Eternity video.

I have enough cds and the concert celebration on dvd, but thanks for thinking of me.
Sooo much better than Conviction.
First snow has settled in Animal Crossing!
It's mega awesome, you can roll snowballs to make snowmen, catch snowflakes like bugs with a net, buy Jingle items and dress as Santa.
The snow is over the top. It now covers everything, you roof, bushes, bamboo, trees and every public work item too like my pyramid has steeped, staggered snow. They really went all the way with this game. Christmas couldn't be better in games.
It's nice to see console gaming is not dead, but in the scheme of things, let's combine the two companies for a second and say that a hot new console came out and sold 4 million units in 3 weeks (global sales). That's not particularly great right? I mean don't some $400 smart phones do that on the first weekend?
A gallon of milk sells more than that every damn day. Milk is where its at.
I started playing zombieU. Other than looking so bad that I often get lost in the wall textures it's a really fun game. I can see where the comparisons with Dark Souls come from. You die a lot and you make a little progress each time before dying. It makes you want to keep playing. I really wasn't sure if I was going to like this game or not but I think it's great.

What I did each time I booted the game up was practice the 180 turn and running, as well as aiming and molotovs. A little warm up helps a lot. Just remember to store stuff in the crate.
except for the first (real) one, none of my characters survive long enough to have anything to save. i also totally forgot that you can run, which button is it? i'm thinking about starting over again ... it shouldn't take me long to get back to where I am now if I know what i'm doing. the game sort of ambushes you a lot after lulling you into a false sense of security, but once you know the specific spots where it happens then it shouldn't be a problem. i'm sad ubisoft ruled out a sequel. it's a fun game and i don't think there is anything else like it at the moment

Hit HOME and check the e'manual.
No point in restarting the characters are just fodder you can burn through. Just store some guns and ammo in the safe house and use molotovs on groups. Use the cricket bat 90% of the time, push back - smash head, repeat in choke points like doorways. The 180 turn then run will save you a lot. There's only two cheap ambush moments in the game, they deliberately troll you by screwing you over at one point.
I'm also playing ZombiU right now (utterly sucking ass at it, but enjoying it), and it's sort of made me wonder about something. All last year I heard all this crap about what an amazing experience Journey was. I think by now we are all aware of my opinion of Journey, so let's just say I disagree with that. However I really do feel that way about ZombiU. Whether or not you think the gameplay is any good the whole experience around it is amazing. It does a remarkably good job of switching your focus to the Wii U tablet, and even lulling you into a sense that you can rely on the tablet for navigating and everything else. And of course whenever that happens.... you're fucked. But it's still just remarkable. This is an actual experience in my book. I know I won't finish this game, but for now I'm enjoying just playing it because of that.
Leo I see what you did...
But there is actual stuff to do in ZombiU so that alone makes it much better than Journey.
