I've been replaying Uncharted 2 this weekend.
Finished Goodbye Deponia and Resistance. Almost finished Resistance 2. Unless Goodbye Deponia was last week...
Finished Tales of Xillia a few days ago and lately I've been bouncing around various games unsure of what to stick with, some for a first play through some for a replay. Games such as Disgaea D2, Doom 3, Resident Evil 6, Dark Souls, Gears Judgment, Gears 3, and Diablo III.
I have been playing:
Wind Waker HD. Better than the original...they just tweaked it enough to fix all the little problems that added up to one big annoyance in the Cube version. I still don't think its as great as the others outside maybe Skyward Sword, but its a great game either way. I've always preferred Zelda having a slightly dark tone, so this game loses a few points just based on the lighter atmosphere for me.
Still replaying Eternal Darkness. Still just as awesome as it was in 2002. To me this game really has not aged at all. There's still nothing like it, and its still a pinnacle of the genre.
Darkness of tone doesn't refer to the colour scheme of the graphics.
I didn't say it did.
The game has a more lighthearted feel to it than even the NES Zelda's.
How far have you got into the pictograph quests?
And I didn't say you did.
Why did most reviewers and gamers hate it? Just too lazy?

Also COD Ghosts, AC4 and Wii U Watchdogs devs have said the U versions are above current gen - halfway between current and next gen. Although obviously proper next gen will be the best versions for graphics its nice to see compared to launch where some U ports performed worse than current gen.
I don't blame anyone for being too lazy when it comes to this game. It has been over a decade since I've seen a worse game when it comes to explaining how to play and what you're supposed to do. A manual is in dire need here. There's a big difference between "not holding your hand" and just throwing a player to the wolves and that's what happens with Hometown Story.
I was aware that was an issue so I played a little recklessly so to speak. I spent more time in the beginning just exploring and talking to people rather than just manning the store which is kind of the direction you're lead, so that helped me figure out things a little faster.
The complete and utter lack of instruction was the exact reason I bought the game for my Mom. After the summer and her recuperation from her operation was over, she just stopped calling me and talking to me almost altogether. Not that she's avoiding me or being mean or anything, she just didn't need me anymore. I bought the game and gave it to her hoping to spark her into at least holding conversations with me about IT.
We'll see...
I hope it works.
Me too bro.

The same here. Best of luck, Leo.
Um.... I just posted a story in black just because of wtf not as big news.
And I will be downloading Wii Fit U and probably picking up the pedometer with it shortly thereafter.
Just announced as being in development. It has a two-year development cycle, and features you and your partner Pikachu solving cases.

Apparently also features a talking blue Pikachu in a villainous role. Motion capture and facial recognition tech was utilised for more realistic facial expressions for Pikachu.
