GG, can you tell me if batman will have off screen play? I can't find any info on it.
Been playing more DS this weekend, the DLC Artorias of the Abyss. I'm having a hard-ass time with this badass son of a bitch. He's harder, faster and meaner than any boss of the regular game. After shitty bosses such as the bed of chaos, this motherfucker just shines. Old school hard. No puzzly shit, no cheap platforming. Pure skill. Trading blow for blow with savagery and beauty.
Just this for me this weekend:
I played The Windwaker and GTA V this weekend.
Haven't all the 3D Zelda games done that?
Ffffffffuck! I usually have my late day on Tuesday, when games are usually released. That means it's pretty late before I can even begin a game with housework, soccer, etc. I was looking forward to starting Origins early before the kids got home (given the reviews are favorable), and it actually releases on a Thursday. Of course I have Fall Festival that night until 7, two hours later than my Tuesdays. *sigh*
That looks like one badass MOFO. I look forward to getting acquanted
Also pretty much only played Dark Souls this weekend. With some brief respite with Animal Crossing (while on the bog).

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
I finally completed the Story in Pikmin3. I gathered all the fruit before heading into the last area. After hearing how hard the last area was from a lot of people, I found it to be rather underwhelming. Sure, it's different, but it's not all that hard. I beat it in 3 days, without putting much thought into it. I'm sure I could beat it in 2 days too.
I can't find any definite confirmation but it's almost guaranteed. The same team did the Wii U port of Arkham City and even with all the extra features it still had offscreen play. If you're desperate I'd wait for the reviews which will tell you.
No, most just save and you restart with all your stuff and spawn before doing the final boss. So you can continue exploring the overworld. I mapped every grid square and did all windfall quests but I wanted to explore more and do everything.
I feel the same way here with retail, there's no support, no demo units, no games in the shops. Actually last week I saw a major retailer increase its standard 1 Wii U game on the shelf to a staggering selection of 5. But still there were four times as many 360 games and a similar amount on PS3. Not sure about Eurogamer dismissing the NPD 200% rise in sales, that's triple the units so I think it was around 50-60k before so triple is 150'000 - 180'000 which is certainly a step in the right direction, there was a 685% increase in UK sales when WW launched and we've got Christmas, price cut and Mario soon. Also I read that only 2 weeks of NPD sales were with the U at the lower price cut level.
Ah, that sucks then.
This is what I was hoping for. But some still half ass it like Watch Dogs doesn't seem to have built in any decent functionality and Splinter Cell sort of only half did right, instead of allowing for 2 different realtime displays they pause the action on the top screen which negates some of the benefits of the system. I've played a lot of stuff which validates the existence of the pad and actually enhances the experience. It's a lot more tangible and flexible than I thought at first. But it's perfect for gadget games, pip boy in fallout, a Batman gadget fest, Splinter Cell, any sci fi game etc.
I ordered Deus Ex directors cut, the reviews were good and you guys told me it was good. I watched a video and it looked like a stealth FPS, fairly managable. It's cheapish here £24 when first party is usually £33 and some other game are £40-50.
Wow Rockstar basically removed griniding in GTA online. It will take forever to make money now. Luckily they gave us money.
