NSMB2 is yet another great Mario platform game, with some cracking new features, but it’s too similar to earlier games in the ‘New’ series to be a classic in its own right.

Huh? Aren't these games made by different teams?
I think I probably will end up buying it (damn you Nintendo and your solid game design) but very grudgingly. And yeah for me it's worse than "not excited". Think I'm losing my patience with Nintendo, and I have been a lifelong fan. It's painful but I have seen their games gradually decline from 10s, to 9s to solid 8s (lots of 8.8s), and now to 7s. And this is at a time when "quite good" maybe just falling short of being good enough.
They need to step up. People put up with all their perks just so they could enjoy their excellent games, but they're not going to much longer if the games are no longer there.

I think the handhelds games were always lower quality than the home console stuff. It's always been like that. It's not like Mario Galaxy or Skyward Sword were meh games.
Those people planning on picking up Borderlands 2 in September, what system are you getting it for?
They are Paper Mario Sticker Star is made by Intelligent Systems and Luigi's Mansion 2 is made by Next Level Games.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
Stop talking sense when a man is angry!!! ANGRY I tell thee

Not so sure. All handheld Zeldas for me were up there (Yes including Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks). Mario & Luigi games are all brilliant. Handheld Metroid games (the GBA ones) were perfect. Why is it OK for handheld Marios to be mediocre?

Is there online play? If so maybe for PS3 as I don't think I will start paying for Xbox live. Otherwise, whichever is supposed to be the better version out PS3 X360

Because Wario rules the handheld space! He took Mario's soul!
"As always, Natsume have prepped a pre-order bonus for the next Harvest Moon game in North America, Harvest Moon: A New Beginning. All GameStop pre-orders for the game will net you this Yak plushie along with your purchase:"
I'll give you that. Wario handheld games are awesome. As well as the Warioware handheld ones.
That is adorable! If Robio's boy doesn't want it, I will offer to buy it off him

Yep! Very much an online game. The entire game can be played up to 4-player cooperative!
A new Kingdom Hearts game was released today. Anyone playing it?
Nope Leo, I will wait a bit to get it.
NSB2, I will get it but I really dont care its there. A new mario game used to be a big event, now its just a yearly, sometimes biyearly one.
Just give the USA Basketball team the gold for the sake of sparing shame to the rest of the world. This has to be embarrasing for the other teams to lose by 50.
Sorry Bugsy I'm not picking it up. Well probably not for now since I don't have a 3DS anymore. As it is, I probably would pass on it just because it's a Harvest Moon on a handheld. As good as it looks, this is a series that requires long periods of play and I prefer those experiences to be on a console.
One Stranger Made World of Difference to 15 yr. olds Journey
Oh what is this crap? I got more emotional from the crap I took this morning. The author should be smacked with a horse cock. He makes some girl's first experience with a real video game console Journey. Of course she enjoyed the experience. If you give a guy dying of thirst a sip of toilet water he'll probably enjoy that too.
From EA"
Jumping into Q4, pre-sells on our sci-fi horror franchise Dead Space 3 are tracking almost five-times higher than Dead Space 2 in the same timeframe in 2010. We believe the new co-op gameplay feature is attracting a lot of attention and a broader audience.
SimCity earned 36 award nominations and 17 wins at E3 and it’s tracking with good demand metrics -- great awareness and solid purchase intent.
Crysis 3 is a highly anticipated title we are publishing in partnership with Crytek in Frankfurt. Pre-orders are roughly three-times what they were for Crysis 2, at this time in 2010.

I’ll start with Madden NFL 13 because this year’s game represents a huge leap in innovation. Powered by the all-new Infinity Engine, every impact is more intense and no two plays ever look
the same. Madden 13 also includes Connected Careers mode, a new feature which allows you to create a player or coach in a league with 32 of your friends. The pre-sells for Madden NFL
13 are up 25 percent versus last year, and purchase intent based on weekly Nielsen surveys is also up significantly.
Co-op the reason, really? Ugh.
