I've been playing a little bit of FFXIII, Bayonetta, and Geometry Wars this weekend.
I upgraded to the Arcade Edition of Street Fighter IV and have been hitting the game hardcore. At this point I'd say I'm almost as good as I've ever been so now it's time to pick one charcter (probably Adon) to focus on and start building up some stats.
And of course for a couple hours on Friday I played and completed Limbo which has scarred me and I will forever speak ill about it.

On the road its lots of Deus Ex and Zelda. Both so awesome and so different.
At home its non stop Fallout, it does not end!
I noticed.
Welcome back, Bugsie!
If it makes you feel any better you're pretty much the only person I seem to be able to beat today. I've gotten my ass handed too me all night long. The alcohol probably hasn't happened, but this has just been a bad night. It's the most I've ever been embarassed with my clothes on.
I got a couple of wins in there, but I must admit, the only time I play is when I go online with you or Yoda. There was a time when I would play Street Fighter and ONLY Street Fighter. There are too many (great) distractions at the moment. Win or Lose I still find it a crap-ton of fun though!
Is sucker punch a lesbian version of 300?
That sounds pretty hot, I'm down for that. Except no its a scholcky Action movie based on a graphic novel but nothing like 300.
I've heard about Dwarf Fortress. I feel insulted, aspro. I even have it on my PC and have gone to the extent of actually firing it up for a couple minutes before being devastated by the unforgiving nature of its interface.
Yeah, even the UI is sparse, cruel and demoralizing.
In all honesty, I have lacked the balls and time to learn to play the game. That doesn't mean I don't appreciate its complexity, though.
I'm totally enjoying Infamous 2 it really is a lot like the first, I miss some of the more comic book like sequences of the first. But I'm still totally enjoying, you are are star of your own super hero comic book really. It still makes you feel that way, I'm enjoying it a hel of a lot more than LA Noire I just can't get into the slow pace of that game, I do appreciate the idea of and how it looks but seriously I can't see what all that hype was about: boring, drag, tedium .... don't think I will ever finish it, I might come back to it. Ehh who am I kidding ...
Yeah, I don't think there's many people here that wouldn't have heard of Dwarf Fortress. Perhaps he meant that "Aspro hasn't heard of".
Yeah, the original story from from Joystiq. I cut them out and went straight to NYT. The deck was actually their original headline:
http://www.joystiq.com/2011/07/24/the-new-york-times-wrote-6-pages-about-a-game-called-dwarf-fortr/
Then a bunch of people commented on it saying, "I can't beleive you guys have not heard about Dwarf Fortress" so they changed their headline.
I have not heard about it either, but it's never a good idea to go infront of a gaming audience indicating ignorance, you are asking to be flamed.
"Well duh, Dwarf Fortress!"
Unlike Joystiq, I will not be changing my headline.
So where is GG? Should we start a search party already?
I'm guessing we insulted him over the Dolphin shots.
New GG search party thread?
