I noticed that all the games they are giving away are Nintendo staples it's not like junk, makes me wonder what other good 1st party gba games they will give away. Fire Emblem and FE Sacred Stones? Advance Wars? Mario and Luigi?

I never played the DS remake of it, so I have no clue what the augment system in. All I can say is keep plugging away and make sure Rydia is in the back row. Maybe use Cecil's "cover" skill to protect her. She will become immensely powerful as she starts learn her high level summon spells. I'mm trying to remember what part of the game you're in right now. Have you gotten Edge yet?

I don't think i got Edge.  Is that a weapon or a character?  I'm in the underworld, ship broke down, Cid left.  My party now is Cecil, Rydia, Yang, Rosa and Kain.  I did a bit of leveling up.  I think I'm meant to go to the Tower of Babil now

Edge is a character. At one point in the over-world you may have come across the destroyed castle of Eblan. Edge was the prince of that kingdom, and now they've been forced to live in some caves underground. Very obnoxious character, but he's also very useful.

And yep Tower of Babil is next for you. After your adventures in the Tower you'll lose another character, but you will make it back to the overworld and Edge will be the next team member for you.
