great cover. reminds me of the first concept shots with the dark and moody art.... when the game held so much promise

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
This is one of the main reasons I prefer Xbox over PS3. Ridiculous shit like this. Everything just takes sooo fucking long on the PS3, its almost like trying to get a PC game to work. I really hope Sony designs their next console to be....more like a console. More like the PS1 & PS2.
Updates done.
Microsoft: "Kinect gives us an additional five years".

Eurogamer hands on Castlevania LOS
At alternating moments Consolevania: Lords of Shadow resembles Devil May Cry without the tongue-in-cheek machismo swagger, Shadow of the Colossus without the steed and sword, God of War without the gore. It takes inspiration from these games with unexpected self-confidence. It's garbed in fantasy presentation that calls to mind Tolkein and del Toro. It's got a spark, creative impetus and dramatic touch about it that the Castlevania series has lacked for some time.
Also the new Medal of Honour Screen looks soooo much like COD.
http://www.gamefront.de/archiv08-2010-gamefront/5410.html
So on top of Having all the Mass Effect 2 DLC packs & extra characters lined up for the week of Sept. 14th when I get my new Xbox, I also have these badass motherfuckers ready to go. Gonna be a fun week:
If they really believe that, they're insane. For one thing, its not going to sell that much. For another thing, only certain people are interested in a motion camera. Another 5 years through a device that's basically for people that don't make up 98% of Xbox's demographic?
I mean I could see it if nobody else was going to release a new console within the next 5 years. Then obviously, just through lack of options. But as soon as a new console hits, people are going to start moving to the next big thing....so what's MS gonna do? Ignore it and focus on the dance game market until 2015? Not likely.
JUST. DOWNLOAD. IT!
Name another BEAUTIFULLY ANIMATED game where you can knife guys to death, drink beer and butcher Luchadores and you get a pass...
...IF NOT, GET. TO. DOWNLOADING. N-O-W ! ! !
Sounds exactly like what I'm hoping for from this game.
I'd download immediately as per your recommendation if I didn't have to pay for it as well.
Who is this Tolkein character you speak of?
I like this
More traditional Castlevania gameplay has not been ignored. Levels have alternate routes and hidden items – you can grope for their secrets on your first run through, but you must often return with better abilities in order to reach them. There are puzzles, involving matching runes or rotating plinths and other such familiar staples. There's rather a lot of platforming, too, climbing around mossy, vine-covered ruins or using the grapple to swing between between stonework ledges.
The game's first boss, the Ice Titan, combines fighting and platforming in a really quite masterful riff on Shadow of the Colossus. As Gabriel enters the frozen Oblivion Lake, snowflakes sticking to and melting on the screen, an enormous creature of ice and stone rises from beneath. Dodging its massive fists, you wait for the opportunity to climb up onto its body and smash the rune seals hidden on its gigantic form, holding one of the shoulder buttons to hang on for dear life as it tries to shake you off.
Behold. . . the world's largest Pokemon Collection
21 year old Lisa never got a date to the prom, but she has plenty of Poke'Friend to keep her company.
All that would take me a year to finish.
I think it depends on what they mean. If they mean they will just continue selling 360 as a low cost console whilst at the same time, maybe in a couple of years, launch a new console then yeah.
If they expect Kinect to somehow tide people over till 2015 before they release another console - just no.
I saw a couple of reviews today, said it had some problems but was mostly worth it.
They might be able to stretch 360 lifespan by such a period of time, but I doubt Kinect will be the determining factor in that.
I haven't even watched this yet but the pic caught me off guard.
Halo is about many things. Monosyllabic space dudes in helmets. Giving someone a thorough teabagging In Team Slayer. Shooting glorified Ewoks in the face. You know what it’s not about? Lingering shots of pensive-looking kids losing their shitting balloons in a heavy handed metaphor about humanity abandoning its innocence during the war with The Covenant.
But you’d never know that from watching the latest Reach ad, which, even by Halo standards, is the biggest load of pretentious nonsense to sully our eyeballs since a certain cry-baby pensioner went all wrong in the retinas in a war museum.
That's because you don't play games, you just test them to see if you COULD play them.
This article is cool:
All About the PlayStation 1's Design Sony designer Teiyu Goto discusses the system, the controller, and the weird symbols on the buttons.
I also vigourously rub them against my crotch.
