I started enjoying it when you hit the Mayan temple and the Prince of Persia style level afterwards. When its trying to be casual combat BS interspersed with meaningless cutscenes it's bad. When you start actually doing indy stuff like exploring temples and working your way through environments its decent. I've gotten used to the controls now and its alot better.

Much better once you figure out one hit headbutt kills and get your dodging timing down.

If you asked me before last night I would have said 6.5, now I guess I would say 7.0

Funny thing is that the shooting parts are quite enjoyable, would love to play a Gears of War-alike with IR control. I like how you actually shoot parts of the environment to trigger Indy events to dispatch bad guys.

It's a nice extra, to Fate of Atlantis, which is awesome, I kicked that on last night too. I think the game is worth it combined with FOA for a cheap price yeah.

Also it's nice that it looks like this as opposed to the initial screens.

Good, good.  This series actually got better as the stories progressed until it got to Apollo Justice (which in fairness wasn't bad, just didn't live up to the original Phoenix games).  I'm with you in hoping for a true Wii version.  I enjoy them as handhelds, but I think some cool things could be done with the Wii's features.

Actually their advertising was spot on.  They were doing it on Adult Swim (light night Cartoon Network if you're not familiar with that), which includes a lot of anime in their programing.  The ad was even done to look like it was part of the show Robot Chicken.  This was actually some of the best done advertising I've seen.  Capcom knows exactly who this game's audience is and is aiming directly at them.  

Ah, so niche advertising niche game on weirdo channel. Gotcha. Reminds me of that Destructiod article which mentioned Adult Swim.

Did you pick up a copy of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories from your local Target? If so, consider yourself to be very lucky. Our Target insider has found out that the retail chain won't be getting anymore copies from here on out. They've marked the title as 'discontinued' in their computer system, and they aren't even bothering to stock the PSP/PS2 version. I'm a little worried...is this just a Target situation, or will other retailers follow?

I have to be honest I haven't enjoyed the game that much.  I'm sure it gets better as it goes on, but I'm having a real hard time pushing myself to the point of where (I presume) it gets good.  Yeah it's creepy, but half the time I've just felt like I'm walking around in the dark.

Excellent!!  It's a good controller, and yeah it makes a world of difference for a lot of games.

Even better, this means we have 3 people who are definites for TvsC.  Can't wait to actually play against you guys.
