Platinum made the 360 game, SEGA ported it to PS3. Sort of like Orange box PS3 situation.
Three out of four.
It only got a couple of marks deducted so its not that bad I guess, but I think western reviewers will be harder on this sort of thing.
Edit: Just a regular one.
Don't sell yourself short. You're a tremendous whore.
Did you try downloading the 360 demo for comparison?
No. I had to DL the PS3 one from my japanese account, and haven't checked out if it is in my regional Live marketplace as of now. Will play it for comparison's sake, and probably will get the game on 360 because 360 games tend to be cheaper around here than PS3 ones, but if the demo is any indication, framerate differences will only bother people who are sensitive to this kind of stuff to begin with.
Shit, I got Mirror's Edge for about 15 bucks while the PS3 version still goes for nothing less than 25.
Well I know what version of Bayonetta I'll be getting. Anyway from the user impressions of the demo for the PS3 version and from the fact that Famitsu still gave it an excellent score I think it should still be one hell of a game.
Awesome review for Tekken 6. I'm sooo looking forward to getting this game. Less then a week away now. Woo hoo!
Exactly. And I'll be waiting a grand total of two weeks to get mah Tekken.
Though I'll be getting it for the console it belongs to.
Yup, the inevitable Wii version.
WTH? Dammit, just release it already!
On rails, yay!
GT5 with 3 discs? Noice. The more content PROVIDED IT'S AT THE SAME PRICE, FUCKERS, the better. At this point in time and after so much waiting, PD/Sony can release it whenever they want, I'm not even stressed about it.
Yeah, at 25 gig per BR that'd be 75 gig of data! The story actually is a bit shaky, the box contains three dics size cases, so maybe one is the game, one is bonus content and one is a little book. Who knows. I'm like you though, so long as it is not outrageuosly priced this will be a day one purchase for me, and I don't care when it comes out -- so long as it's a solid game.
Given how long they've made us wait, I'd be disappointed if 3 discs didn't result in 3 GTs worth fo content.
That'd be classic. Polyphony Digital, "American investors, please thank you for your waiting, we present Gran Turismo 5, 6 and 7. We'll be back in 2016."
