Wow, Spider-Man 2 is his hit? They may as well get Uwe Boll to direct it then.
Postal>>>Spider-Man.
I wouldn't give any creative control to this scheme, just funding. It would be stupid to try and include thousands of disparate ideas.
Sam Raimi is doing WOW? Er.... wow.

Guess Famitsu was ticked off that there was no Mai in KoFXII!

this is a game designed clearly with multiplayer in mind and it will just let you go it alone if you want, much like zelda: four swords adventures.
it's not quite what i want but i hope the final product turns out different/better

Listen to Wu-Tang and watch Kung-Fu
I read the preview too I don't agree with you. These guys clearly didn't play it as a single player game. They did nothing but talk about multiplayer, which gave me the impression that they never tried it out as a single player game.
Yeah, I agree with robio.
Miyamoto himself said it was a single player game first, and a mulitplayer game second. Here's the quote that GG posted in the NSMB Wii thread:
Miyamoto: We really didn't think about designing the courses or levels for multiplayer. They're designed for that single-player experience. But it's just fun to have more people playing together. We really didn't go out of our way to build anything specifically for multiplayer. I think the thing that we really had to focus on was kind of the opposite--we had a single-player mode, and all we had to do was make sure that within this level that it could be played with more. So we couldn't create anything that wouldn't allow us to put more than one character in there, and that was kind of tough. We've got that [auto-scrolling moving platform]--if you make that the normal size, of course, you can't get all four players on it; if you make it too big it's too easy. So looking at that, that's one of those things that we had to work on specifically because we have introduced multiplayer.
No more lame Avatars, please? Please?

Dammit!
Got to find the way to make the 360 appeal to housewives!
Sam Raimi on a WoW movie? Cool. I loved the Spider-man movies so I'd love to see this one.
I always look forward to the dashboard updates so this upcoming one is no different. I signed up to be one to try it out early so I'm hoping to get picked but either way it's only a few weeks away from official release.
Ouch! No love from Famitsu for KoF XII. Oh well I'm still pumped to get the game myself. Looks amazing.
It's very low on system requirements but it looks great. It really is basically Team Fortress 2 with vehicles and in third person shooting. I hope EA DICE continues to support the game with new maps, weapons, etc., like TF2. I also prefer this over TF2...well, mostly because there's less lag so far and it's free!
After playing Battlefield 1943, this really does hit the right spot in a more lighthearted way. It's basically a cartoony more casual version of Battlefield 1943. And although I'm just playing it, I do feel that it may get old after awhile. But since it's free to play, I ain't complaining!
I'd actually wouldn't mind if this came to XBOX Live or PSN. I'd pay points for it.
Some screens:
We should all join and form our own VGPress Team...or not.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 Might Not Be Released
IG: It's always a bit risky for a publisher to push out a new IP, not knowing how the market will react to it. Luckily for Ubisoft, Assassin's Creed did well so now it's a franchise...
LD: Yes, that worked out, but it doesn't work out every time, and sometimes you come back to an IP that didn't work because you still think it could have – like Beyond Good and Evil, which was leaked, so now people know we're working on a new one. Whether or not it comes out remains to be seen anyway, but we didn't want to abandon that IP because it has a cache and authenticity about it. There's something very pure about that game and it's too bad that we were not able to build it as an IP at the time.
IG: Most publishers make decisions based on sales, so what made Ubisoft decide to pursue Beyond Good and Evil again?
LD: Well, I didn't say there's definitely going to be another game. I said something had leaked, which means we've been working on some Beyond Good and Evil stuff, but whether there's going to be another game or not, that's something for the future. But getting to your question as to why there's work on the IP again, it's a creative people business; the creative talent is interested in it and possibly exploring how to do it from a new angle.
Ouch!
Excuse me while I take a trip to France. Anyone wanna come with?
As long as you're not going to Paris, yes.
