Overlord Dark Legend NOM preview"The game is hugely entertaining and the controls are satisfying without being too confusing"officialnintendomagazine.co.uk gamingeek
No shock about Bionic Commando. Every preview of the game I read had a few complaints. ANytime I read a preview that is anything less than glowing and talking about all the potential it's a sure thing the game will be scoring in the 7's or lower. Sad, but absolutely no surprise.
Yeah it was a pretty big drop for hardware across the board, times are tough. The Wii still did pretty good but when you compare it to previous months it's a big drop. Hmm I wonder if we'll actually see a pricecut for the Wii before 2011. DS had phenomenal sales though. I'm still itching to get myself a DSi real soon. Nice to see that Resident Evil 5 for the 360 stayed in the top ten, awesome game. Kudos to Capcom.
OMG @ the DS ... oh, right ... new pokemon game. that figures.
Lost is one of my least favourite US tv series. on the subject of tv series ... i recently discovered "the wire". how good is that show? wow. same league as the sopranos if not even better.
To be honest with you I think that a 15-20 hour lightgun game could get pretty damn boring. It's an arcade set up, so it really works best when you've got short sessions that you can do again and again. The gameplay needs to be addictive, not engrossing. I actually thought the levels were a tad long on Umbrella Chronicles sometimes and yet they were long because you spent a lot of time walking around looking at walls and not shooting. That's not so bad when you're controlling where you're walking because then you're still very engaged with the experience, but with a lightgun game? Yuck.
Also the Slim PS3. Looks like a sting-ray. I wonder if it could be barbequed with the fat PS3.

NOM has a new preview of Overlord Dark Legend. I wont post the link yet, but they say that their impressions are "Hugely positive and entertaining"
The Godfather 2 surprises me. The game looks like utter crap (graphically) and apparently has nothing to do with the movie beyond character names. I think that it is a resource management game, much like Scarface for PSP, rather than a open-world type game, which will confuse a lot of users, but in any case... um does "The Godfather" license really carry that much clout that it can get those kind of numbers out of a game license? I kind of put The Godfather up there along with The Sting and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid in terms of currency.
Excitebots: Trick Racing around 9k (not include Wii wheel bundle set)
It's been out for nearly a month (in North America at least), and it's only sold around 9k? I called it! Trucks >>> Bots
The 9k is from around 10 days sales Hamster! Still a huge bomba!
How do you figure? Your post included numbers for Klonoa, which was released earlier this month. Excitebots was released back in mid April. Are you telling me Neogaf has the current numbers for Klonoa, but not Excitebots? Lame.

The NPD results are from April, so they are about the sales of the month April. Klonoa was released early at some Gamestop's. They broke the street date of May 5th. That's why we have some sales. In short all sales are of April.

Oh, I didn't know they broke the street date on Klonoa. That's odd. Gamestop usually doesn't do that.
I love it when Darth does NPD Big drop but ratios stay the same, apart from DS/i. Whoa. Kicking it. Iga, Rhythm Heaven has already hit 2 million worldwide.
The Tony Hawks board is how the PS3 slim should look. Badass. You could put drinks on it too

Looks like it. The XBLA remake game looks better

17% drop in sales in the US overall? Scary.
Why.
So Rhythm Heaven sold less 90k![Sad](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-frown.gif)
Some numbers from Neogaf
Excitebots: Trick Racing around 9k (not include Wii wheel bundle set)
Klonoa around 2k (released early at some Gamestops, official date is May 5th)
Nintendo sold more than 827,000 Nintendo DSi systems in April and an additional 215,000 Nintendo DS™ Lite systems
Looks like it'll be a Wii Balance Board rip-off to me.
It's been out for nearly a month (in North America at least), and it's only sold around 9k? I called it! Trucks >>> Bots![LOL](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

Well. I would have thought Tony Hawk taking me for a ride would have a peripheral that looked more like this:
