I got my 360 back. Now I feel like a man again. *evil laughter*
Ok, back to Animal Crossing.
Good to hear. Man this is only the second day without mine and already I feel so empty and alone. *sobs* I filed the repair order and now just await for the coffin to send it away in. I sure hope it all gets done in quick order. I just got Red Alert 3 and Call of Duty for Christmas and was really enjoying them.

Well you can now finish Zack and Wiki! Or you can participate in the Brawl tournament we are having tomorrow. Or do that awesome jump in Galaxy and brag about it here once you succeed!

Yeah I think I'm going to go and finally finish Zack & Wiki now. I ended up trading in Brawl and Galaxy awhile back to pick up Dead Space, wish I still had them now though. I'll probably get those games again. They really should be $30 games by now though. I'm eyeing a copy of No More Heroes at my Walmart which is $10 during the Boxing Week sale so I might grab that. I also have Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition I could play through.

Galaxy and Brawl for Dead Space, no way in hell is that a fair deal. What were you thinking? And these games are still selling so they will keep their price for a while. Even Twilight Princess is still full price. No More Heroes for 10 bucks is a good deal. Oh and do not forget World of Goo, if you haven't brought it already.

I don't know I loved Dead Space and while I love Brawl and Galaxy I just wasn't playing them anymore at the time and they were two games that I had with big trade value that I felt I could do without for awhile. I'll end up trading in Dead Space as well typically when there is a flood of games I want to get. I always do this kind of thing of trading in games when there is too many I want to get by buying straight up and often I'll pick up some of those games again when I see them selling for cheap. I generally get good deals for my trade-ins for instance I got $55 for Galaxy and Brawl combined. Some games I do hang onto more then others such as Gears of War, Halo, and the Ninja Gaiden games but that's because they tend to be games I replay at a higher rate. It may not be the most logical thing to do but it does work well for me and my gaming habits. As for World of Goo I'm not really sure about that one, not that I don't think I'd like it just that there are a good number of games I'm more interested in putting that money towards first.
Its basically Elder Scrolls in a modern, realistic setting. I liked it, but at the same time the Elder Scrolls games hit me A LOT harder than Fallout. I don't know why, maybe I just like the ES fantasy setting more.
The combat is great in how you can target specific body parts, and the slow-mo scenes are awesome. Yet I found it like the rest of the game to become a bit more tiresome and repetitive than the ES stuff. In ES you can always come up with a new spell or some crazy shit to keep you entertained. Fallout, you're pretty much stuck with gun combat.
How does the combat work exactly? Is it just like a run and gun FPS or is it like RPG guns KOTOR combat type thing?
Hmm, You can definitely play it like a straight up shooter. There's different guns and different ammo types that work better or worse on some enemies though, so you always need to have the right weapon for each bad guy.
It doesn't feel as much like RPG combat as any other RPG I've ever played, honestly. In fact, if you show this game to someone who's not really a serious gamer, they'll have a hard time understanding why this is an RPG and not considered a shooter instead. In a lot of ways, Fallout 3 is the game Far Cry 2 should have been.
This game is great old-school fun. I'm playing it for the first time right now, and I now know exactly where Capcom got the idea for Devil May Cry from; GUTS RAGE! They totally ripped this game. Amazing how many game styles and ideas that were started on Dreamcast (crazy taxi + shenmue= GTA 3) ended up flourishing.
Great voice work too, I think Campbell from MGS does voice here, and its all high level production values. Graphics aren't quite up to RE Code Veronica but very close. There's even a little naked fairy that reminds me of Zelda.
Its times like these, I wish we had a Dreamcast 2. Or would it be 3 by now? At any rate, I'd rather have SEGA than M$ any day of the week.
Man Persona 4 is infuckingcredible it surpasses the original in every conceivable form and adds as many innovations to the RPG genre as the first did. Wow talk about truely pushing a genre. It really makes me eager to see a "The World Ends With You" sequel. If Persona 3 to 4 jump was this big imagine that.

In a perfect gaming world we'd either have SEGA, Nintendo, and Capcom leading the console race, or have standardization. Sadly we do not.
While the game doesn't look that much fun to me it is easy to see that this was probably the game that sparked the interest of Devil May Cry. I really do miss the days when we use to get high production valued instead of budgeted games on consoles on a regular basis. I far prefer a game like "No More Heroes" as oppose to the latest blockbuster.

LOL.....I approve the most disappointing games article for their blasting of Too Human and Far Cry 2.
So gorgeous, so technically excellent, so intriguing at first -- which makes it especially crushing that under all that richly-realized Africa is yet another first-person shooter, and endless litanies of the same ambush mission over and over.
Far Cry 2 really was not even close to Instincts in quality. Instincts blows FC2 away, both single-player and multi-player wise. In single player, Instincts shows that sometimes a more linear experience is a much better one, with much more variety. While multi-player speaking, FC2 completely removed the fun factor by making things all uber realistic.
Everyone who plays FC 2 says the same thing: The first few hours, you think you're in for an amazing experience. A few hours later, you realise you're in for the same experience over, and over, and over again.
I was going to get this game, what is with Ubi and the repetitive missions? They seem to go to all this trouble with sandbox type games and then mess up on variety.
IGA I saw this documentary that showed what would happen if mankind were to be wiped out. It showed the world, nature reclaiming the cities etc. It would take a few thousand years but yeah it would happen.
If that was the one I saw that was a load of bullshit. It was a case of stating the fucking obvious thrown in with some speculative crap. :X
Meh. I'm much happier with Microsoft in the console business then Sega. As far as I'm concerned they have brought alot of good stuff to the console scene.
As for "blockbuster" games vs. games like "No More Heroes" it's no contest for me, give me my "blockbuster" games and keep 'em coming.
I told you she was a dirty slut. Probably sleeping around with Bowser while waiting for Mario to save her. Where else did the Koopa kids come from? And look at that mouth, I bet she can suck it really well.

Well time could certainly be better spent than watching that, and Crysis would be time better spent. However I think you might've meant to quote just GG.

Yup yup I agree.
With SEGA, yeah they made some dumb moves back in the day but when they kicked ass, they kicked ASS. And you could always sense the passion there; nothing seemed like a soulless generic corporate entity trying to take over the world's living rooms.
Dreamcast didn't last long, but I had more happy fun times with that machine than most can muster in a full cycle. If it would have stuck around for 2 more years and kept the same level of great software variety coming, it would have been obsurd.
^^^Well I think the Dreamcast had a year go around to give it the extra boost in its streaming quality. Think if the 360 started out in its second year (I.E. launched with Gears) and had the games from its first year (PGR3, Amped 2, Kameo, PDZ, DR, GRAW) to be placed in its second year. Saying that the Dreamcast was still far more impressive then any other system so far during its 3 year run. Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, Sword of Beserk, Marvel vs Capcom 2 (the definitive version), Last Blade II, Power Stone I and II, Skies of Arcadia, Resident Evil Code Veronica, Phantasy Star Online, Ikaruga, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Grandia II, Soul Calibur, and Jet Set Grind. And this is just from the top of my head. Sad that due to financial troubles of their past hardware failures and the declining arcade business.
Just hit your special attack button (default is B on the GC controller) with the stick at neutral. It might take a little bit after you break the Smash Ball--when I don't wait a second or two with Ganondorf, pressing B makes him do his special.
Ok, back to Animal Crossing.
