Mario is supposed to be the good guy in the game, but he slaughters every goomba and koopa in his way, wreaking havoc throughout mushroom kingdom.
Or something. Meh. It wasn't that funny anyway.
Oh okay, so I did get it. It just wasn't funny. I thought I was missing something.
Yeah, I know. Whenever Iga posts some shit you are always left wondering if there is any metaphysical underlying message hidden between somebody's buttocks.

Well there is, read my previous post. About baby killing.

You are missing something, it is called a sense of humour.
GG no Sonic Chronicles yet. THANK you for that RE5 interview it was incredible! Yeah the wii part sucked, I am shocked that they are not making any other RE side games, like a UC2. But there is so much more info in there, new extra modes, a plan for the story beyond RE5, 30+ hours of content. I am so excited for RE5.
On the podcast, so am I the only guy playing new games. Anyone play LBP, Dead Space, Wario Land, Mega Man 9, Wipeout HD, Resistance 2... I have played all that. How about 360, any of you got Fable 2, how about any Far Cry 2. I dont want to be the only guy asked questions about current games, I would like a discussion.
Don't look at me, I play everything way after it's released. I also don't have a 360. While I had planned on some talk about what we've played lately, I wasn't thinking too much about discussion on recent releases.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobile
It was barely enough to take in the sights. The colour is unbelievable, luminous and warm in a way that couldn't be achieved in lit polygons. Waves scroll and grasses waver like stop-motion watercolours. The enemies are a parade of bewildering, mystical golems conjured out of branches and feathers and hair; their flickering, unstable forms are impossible to pin down as they flit around the screen, but their personalities are charming and menacing in equal measure. We battled a giant tin knight in an autumnal cornfield, bird-men in the branches of a mountain forest, whirling twin parasol-monsters at a temple, a gurning demon under moonlit cherry-blossom.
In this form Muramasa was simple, balanced, extremely rapid and thoroughly satisfying to play. It seems to eschew convoluted combos or elaborate action-RPG mechanics for hypnotically powerful rhythms, the see-saw poise of the sword system, and interesting enemy attack patterns. Whether this is representative of the game as a whole - and if it is, whether it has any longevity or depth whatsoever - is at this point impossible to say. Either way, a pure action game of this craftsmanlike quality will be very welcome on Wii.
Disaster review (Fridays updates)
The plot itself is absolutely mad. Think the one-man-against-insurmountable-odds heroism of Die Hard mixed with Dante's Peak and The Day After Tomorrow, and you're almost close to the quatro-formaggi-with-stuffed-crust level of cheesiness here.
It's the kind of story where everything that can go wrong does, and the above comparison with 24 is pretty appropriate given how often Bryce utters Jack Bauer's favourite expression: "dammit!" And that's before we get to the giant cans and watermelon slices, Bryce's hilarious tai chi deep breathing to clear his lungs of smoke, and the section where you run towards an incoming tidal wave to save a perilously positioned dog.
The woeful AI and a few clumsy sections detract from what's otherwise a really enjoyable arcade-style experience. But it looks and sounds great and there are enough unlockables to warrant a second and third playthrough. Given its slightly troubled production history, seeing the final game in such good shape comes as a very welcome surprise.
Unique mix of gameplay Wicked sense of humour Great visuals Plenty of replay value Very poor enemy AI
GOTY?
that actually makes Disaster sound even more awesome. And according to the wii channel it comes out here today.

Oh ok, so you got some topics ready, I remember seeing something about 2D games.
Playing tactics ogre: knights of lodis this weekend. this better not be like fire emblem where i will hit a wall late on for lack of hindsight or reading a guide before starting to play it. Early impressions are really good ... i really love the FFTA look and the music (even though tinny as all GBA titles) is very good.
Yes, I finished my Zero mission 15% run on hard mode. I have beaten everything with 2 missiles and 3 super missiles. Now I have unlocked more Samus art, more fapping material I have. I completed the game under 2 hours with 100% in normal and hard mode, and with 15% on normal and hard mode. I still need to comlete the game in over 4 ours to get the last ending picture. Completed the original Metroid too.

You do not have to play games to talk about them, heck you do not even have to have knowledge of the game. Check out System Wars if you don't believe me!

Same here dude. No, really. I'm not playing anything 'new'. I'm still playing through GTA and Burnout Paradise for crying out loud!
I personally think that there are almost too many games being released considering the relative length of these games. If games were like movies we could digest all of these titles because they would be cheaper and shorter. And preferably on a console that could play all games. Instead we have to pick and choose a few expensive games because no one can afford to get them at the prices they sell them at and no one has the time to play them all either. What is wrong with this picture?

Archie and Edge play a lot, they need to get on the podcast. I really don't see what the hell capcoms problem is. REUC came out like a year ago now and they don't have a RE project in the works despite that title and RE4 port both selling over a million? Their response was to look around and see what other kind of zombie type shit they could port as quickly and as cheaply as possible? And they came up with REmake, RE0 and Dead Rising? That's seriously lame. You would have thought that they would have something brewing in the background, even a follow up to UC. But I suppose there is House of the Dead Overkill for that. I'm still waiting to see what developers can truly come up in a RE game to use the unique wii features. Hell, even motionplus. Or a tilting chainsaw, physics controls etc.
RE5 looks cool though, hyper detail in some of those visuals. Not sure I like either of the leads so far. The africa setting somehow still seems odd to me and the gameplay does looks exceedingly similar. Wesker looks cool as hell though. I would like to see a RE game where you could play as Wesker like in Heroes when Sylar sort of becomes good.

The dude on the Mad World cover looks like Marcus Fenix.
30+ hours of content in Resident Evil 5? Awesome! This game is going to rock so freakin' hard. I'm so looking forward to it it's crazy.
i really like the madWorld cover.

I was just reading the CVG RE5 interview. Kawata is the ass who was responsible for UC turning from a RE4 style game into a lightgun shooter.
"Wii users like easiness"
"We spent about three to four times more cash on the sound effects in Resident Evil 5 than we did in Resident Evil 4."
So why are they re-using all the old RE4 sounds for guns and reloads?
