I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery. Also, please don't cough into the microphone of your tablet/phone/laptop/whatever it is you use to peruse this site. There's still a lot we don't know about the virus and I'd rather be safe than sorry.
Damn, that virus is an asshole, I hope for a speedy recovery.
Oh man that really sucks. Hopefully it can get taken care of now and wishing you a speedy recovery.
Plenty of ways to find out outside of social media.
That being said, sacking people for their opinions on social media is inherently stupider than the stupid opinions people post on social media that result in their sacking.
This matters not because of actors being fired (it's great PR for them!), but because people who aren't in a position to make a career out of "censorship" grifting also get fired for opinions on social media.
Depends on what you mean by social media.
By many definitions, you and I are currently engaging in an interaction outside of social media. Here is an opinion I am sharing with you outside of the social media, and you can let me know if it's stupid or not (if you are so inclined): Aristotle was an idiot.
Did you know that people even interact outside of the internet, and can share opinions and feedback on said opinions with one another irl in a variety of different ways?
Now, social feedback of course isn't necessarily a good test of the stupidity of one's opinion. How to judge what is and what is not stupid has troubled humanity for millenia, and there are a variety of methods to which people have turned, but these days the scientific method is pretty popular; as is Greek logic, but see above.
Bowser's Fury is a lot of fun. I'm glad I stayed away from the reviews and videos of it.
I am locked out of my aspro account. I am the real aspro.
Just wear two masks, you'll be all right. Stay Safe, Love and Light.
From the thousands of eurogamer.net news posts over the years.
Even with the scientific method you have peer reviews. And you would want strangers to do that, because your friends may have biases.
But even scientific method will not save you from the internet mob. Simple saying that obesity is not healthy will somehow be controversial on the internetz. It seems completely arbitrary what is stupid or not.
Welcome to society. What do you suggest?
Well in Gina case I would tweak Vader's advice and say keep all your opinions to yourself. Or better yet get rid of social media. Opinions are bad for business.
But for society at large keep speaking up. Be critical of everything and say stupid shit. At the very least I would provide some entertainment
