I got some good use out of Switch recentely. Cat had to take a shit in the garden past 10pm, I was alone in the dark playing Arms, waiting.

Then on the train I was playing, girl next to me didn't seem interested - Nintendo ads misled me. But there was this kid playing a mobile game enviously eyeing up my Switch. Ah to be adult rich and not kid poor.

The train was delayed an hour on return, no problem for me.

I had some shit luck myself today. A few weeks ago I started hearing a noise from my muffler so I figured it would be just a small patch job. Even if it needed to be replaced I thought it would be covered on the warranty I have on my Rav4.

As it turns out, nope...it's not covered. And combined with an oil change & tune up I just had to waste $450 that I really didn't want to be spending right now. So combine this with my eye exam and new contact lenses I have to get in about a month among other shit, and I'm set back about $1000 from where I wanted to be. Ah life and it's wonderful expenses.

Aww man, that sucks to hear.  Wishing you the best with the recovery.  Good thing gaming requires zero walking.  Will you be able to do your job from home, or will you be unable to work for at least 3 months?
